Thank you Andrea and Poster #9 (np). Your messages are strong and real. I needed them both. I attended Andrea's beautiful funeral service to help her family celebrate her life. It was incredibly sad and insightful. My young daughter (8 years old) who is my special gift from GOD knew that Andrea was with the Lord and in her prayers, she let her Grandpa Richard know (he passed away two weeks ago)that he had met a very beautiful young woman on her day and even though my little angle cautioned Grandpa that Andrea was too young for him, she still hoped that they won at the poker game and had fun drinking tea and eating cookies. Such wisdom brought me to my knees and tears and I turly saw what an amazing little gift the Lord had given me, my SHANNON. For this I promised all the beautiful angels I met at the service to quit smoking on Mothers Day. For you Andrea I thank you as I am a very pig headed red head and sometimes I need a good boot to the noggen to have the message hit the target. I loved the video that your son Josh "the Wolf" made of your family trip to Hawaii. You and Mark have done a wonderful job in raising such wonderful contributers to our community. My daughter Shannon reminds me of Jenna's wonderful qualities and never will ever forget the play that she saw at St. Timothys school when she was four and Josh played the "wolf" and Tara and Taylor Jones. To shannon he will always be Josh "the wolf" and she calls him this everytime she sees him at work at Bogey's. I think I better stop because I am rambling. sorry for all those who took the time to read this. Thank you Andrea I will help spread your message. I don't support this petition. We buried Andrea today. Read her blog at number 10. She died less than a year after she was diagnosed. For the love of your family, for the love of your friends, and for yourself, please quit smoking. Please stop. One more death is too many. I don't want to lose anyone else I love to smoking- I've lost too many already. You may not think your smoking has an impact, but it does...just ask Andrea's 4 kids who don't have a mom tonight, a church full of people who lost their friend, their sister, their daughter, their cousin. Please, butt out.
