I agree. Some friends of mine made a \"joke\" derived from south park. In reality it was actually just an insult to Jesus Christ. I\'ve attempted to reach out to these people and one of them almost made the commitment but they say they \"don\'t care\". The actual issue is that they care but don\'t want to deal with it. I hope this is a serious petition because every other petition I've found online has not been serious, and that - in itself - should disturb all American citizens. Anyway, many visionaries like Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Fiji's president Ratu Iloilo, and Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez have all seen and understood how censorship is a perfectly viable way to run a society. China knows this. Nazi Germany knew this. Even the old Soviet Union knew this, for Pete's sake! When, my friends, will America catch up and realize that censorship means we do not have to worry about our children seeing such filth? Like any good parent I want my children being raised by the best television has to offer. But how can I rest easy and relax at the YMCA knowing my children might be watching such horrid programs like South Park? It's hard to think about, I know. And let's not forget the people who like and laugh and are brought joy and happiness by South Park. I do not want them watching it, either! Is controlling what people think, hear and say really that bad? Censorship means shopping without worry.
