Special Needs children are mainstreamed into todays schools for the sole reason of inclusion.

This idea has no consideration of other children in the classroom or how this can affect the SEN child learning process.

A child with austism or other simalar needs cannot function or learn at the speed of the other children and can effect other childrens learning through bad behavoiur.

I AM NOT completely against mainstreaming of SEN children but there MUST be allowances that allow SEN children to receive support outside the classroom either with a leanrning support assistant (LSA) or other professional.

I agree, it is sad about these poor kids, but they affect the learning of other kids when they are put into normal classrooms. i know we are not talking about retarted kids here like the loser in 1 and 3 said. But autistic and ADD kids have behavoiural issues that effect others. Give them a chance and limit inclusion. give these kids a better chance!!!

I agree with this petition. These poor children need our help, we all take it for granted when we wake up and live our 'normal' lives. And there are innocent children who will suffer for there entire life over something they did not choose or deserve, they need all the help and love we can give. God Bless

I 100% agree with this petition. Children deserve to be supported within the classroom. I do not know what is with school and inclusion, they do it purley for social reasons, but the honest truth is that these children have learning difficulties which is more important than who they invite to there birthdays
