I am an adult as well, and i loved the series when i was about 13-14... it was a nice, great series what i still watch with pleasure. Gender is not an issue for the show. Nova is the strongest both physically and spritually. The violence is no deal either. There's no blood, no broken bones.
My Gym Partner's a Monkey? How is that better than this? It's completely brainless! And people want reviews that are researched, not "I'm gonna watch one episode and base my review on that!" There are many people out there who want to see the end of the story, even if it's not another season and just a movie.
CS are all wrong! SRMTHFG is a wonderess show that is filled with adventure, comedy, excitement. It shows you that what goes up must come down, there is no good without the bad, but most importantly-it teaches you the meaning of friendship!

I would have to agree with common sense media on the review for the beginning of the show because in my opinion the first season wasn't all that good. However, more into the end of the second series ending, I thought the show improved a lot! The illustrations are better draw and they showed more of a better plot and story line.
CSM had no idea what they were talking about. They said the show had no plot, and yet they refered to "My Gym Partner's A Monkey" for a better example of a show? Honestly, when the majority of those who review disagree, they must realize that they made a big mistake.
CSM had no right to make such a review for SRMTHFG, especially seeing as they obviously hadn't seen enough of the show to make a judgement. Also, the fact that this show is in danger of cancellation as it is. Being lied about won't help matters.
I read the CSM review about two days after it was posted. To this day I am still sickened by what it contained. As a teenage viewer, I believe that whoever wrote that review should have at least TRIED to pay attaction to it, even just a little bit! Way to go Netbug! Let's give us a new review!
I agree! Don't let Common Sense Media mislead you! Think about it people. How can the plot be "hopelessly confusing"? What episode did they start watching it at? The Stranded Seven? Or maybe Galactic Smash Attack?
This is not just one of those "beat-em up" style cartoons. I'm sure you'll all agree that the plot gets very deep at times, take for example I, Chiro.

I read the review from Commonsensemedia and I was pretty disgusted. How can they just judge this show like that? Well, think of it this way: It's them against the hundreds of SMTHFG fans in the world.
Too many people make poor judgements on this show based on first glances, and particularly on the name. PLEASE take a closer look and give this review an overhaul! It deserves a better review than it was given!
SRMTHFG is much better than most of the shows we see on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network today. And to hear our favorite show being put down is frustrating. I say change the review!
I have read the review posted on Commonsensemedia.org and I completely disagree with its statements. SRMTHG is a great show, and many fans, including I, find inspiration and entertainment when watching the show. I agree with the statements written above without a doubt.
SRMTHG is far better than the crud that's out on TV right now. The show can either be really wacky...or truly moving, with an amazing plotline running through.
I have been a fan of this show since it began airing, and as a long time fan I strongly disagree with CSM's review. It seems to me that the reviewer didn't do all their homework...so please give SRMTHG a second chance.
I fully agree on all points. As an adult fan, I feel that other adults are bashing this show without giving it a chance and Common Sense needs to write their reviews with a more open mind.
