Starbucks refuses to change their cups to recyclable
Created by Emily Fryksater on 26 March 2008 @ 6:30:35 PM
We all love Starbucks. It's what powers most of us in the morning on the way to work, or school. But when we asked Starbucks to go greener, they refused! After doing some research we, me and other Greenpeace members, found that Starbucks does not make their cups recyclable. When we called and informed them of this environmental issue they said they didn't want to make their cups recyclable because it would ruin their trademark symbol, in other words their appearance. When it comes down to it we rather save the trees then drink Starbucks coffee. If you believe that Starbucks should change their cups to recyclable sign this petition. Soon we'll make our favorite coffee cafe, Starbucks, a greener, healthier company.

I was never a fan of Starbucks and now I\'ll make sure never to buy their brewed coffee.
