As it is well known, (CL4) Steven Nortonâ„¢ is a member of the infamous Shoot On Trouble list. At the time he was added, it was justified. His behavior was disruptive, and he was inconsiderate of certain other chatters.

Since that time he has taken steps to return his behaviour to a state before the unfortunate events that brought this shame on him in the first place. He took a four month sabbatical away from the internet, as well as found other avenues to vent frustration.

If you feel it in your heart, please do not let this man be punished further and sign this petition. Please remember to check your email after signing to verify the signature.

I support this petition because everyone deserves a fair break. Negative attention can be even more consuming than positive attention, so I say let's give the man some positive attention and encourage positive behavior from him. Be proactive people. Rewards and incentive programs work more effectively than punishments. Any human services related professional will tell you that. :P

Look, Steven Norton has from time to time crossed the line. He has however been a member of the Outpost for many years and continues to visit despite his status. On top of this, he went to the trouble to create this petition which is really a sign of not only his passion for the Outpost, but his creativity as well. While I might not chat as much as I once did I ask the powers that be consider Mr. Norton's plea and give him an opportunity to live without the shame of "monitor status".

I support this petition because I've known Steve for a number of years and since my return to OTF he's had nothing but exemplary behavior. It might not mean much, but I support Steve.

IF and When Steven gets the last thing that has always remained to stay in his way. To follow the first Prime Directive, somewhat more often. I think Steven is capable and a smart person, and hopefully will get himself off the troublemaker list. =)

I've known Steven for a while and under different hadle and if anyone deserves another chance it's him. I've known certain people who have lowered just because the act like they've changed and suck up to certain personnal and been lowered in no time simply because the persuaded the right people. Everyones saying lately that everyone deserves a second change and a change to wipe the slate clean so i think it's onnly fair that he does to. Honestly don't think that he would be stupid enough to get people to back him only to end up getting himself back on SOT. And if he is we all get to thwap him repeatedly :P

Yes true Steve was one a very, very bad person who even hated me because of his SOT/ Monitor status.. But as all things, things do change and so has he, I can even talk to him now! Signed!
