Ladies and Gentlemen of YouTube,
In the past few months, YouTube has added a few copyright and other such restrictions to people's accounts. I didn't mind this so much, as I could make my own music and video. However, what they are doing now - forcing you to switch to the former Channels Beta that they had out for anyone who wanted to try it on July 15th - is NOT acceptable. We need to make this heard.
Some reasons people don't like Channels Beta:

1. It is poorly designed and has lots of hidden controls that only someone with tons of experience with it could figure out. As you could imagine this isn't very friendly to people who are just starting out with YouTube.

2. A Channels Beta account no longer has a separate Videos page where you can browse through the person's videos using somewhat large icons of the videos. Instead, it has a small scrolling box full of all the uploads you've made. This gets really stupid when you start having more than fifty uploads. Instead of having different pages that you can browse through videos with, you have to use the scrolling box, that has to load all of the text describing all of the videos and their icons. If you look at nalts's, vlogbrothers', or sxephil's channel, you will easily see that if you want to get into some of the person's early stuff, it takes forever to load - if it even loads at all and doesn't freeze up your browser like it does mine.

That brings me to reason 3. Glitchiness. YouTube's Channels Beta (or should I say, Channels 2.0) have almost no backup compatibility, and I know tons of YouTube users who say that the new channels will simply not work on their computer.

And there are tons more reasons; I was just including three of the most urgent ones.
YouTube, for this time, I'm going to have to say the old expression: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We were fine without your Channels Beta. They don't improve anything, they just make everything worse. If you're going to go through with this mandatory change, you're going to lose tons of fed up YouTubers. I suspect some have left already.

YouTube used to be a friendly place until Google took over. Now they should just call it OurTube.
