If you go to highschool than you know that everybody listens to Emo or Punk. Bands like Simple Plan, Good Charolette or Taking Back Sunday etc. They think it makes them cool. They even try and dress like the bands they like. Well, in reality, there is nothing cool about Emo. It should not even be considered music. Frankly, it sucks! I hate when kids pick up a guitar and play emo songs, which are just powerchords, and people think it is so impressive. Do you know how easy it is to sing and play an emo song? It is the lowest possible form of music. Stop listening to it, be yourself. We shouldn't let people influence us. We can be accepted and still be ourselves. And if we are not accepted because we don't listen to what they like, than I don't want to be accepted. What ever happened to bands like The Beatles or Led Zeppelin? No one appreciates real music anymore. So sign this if you too hate emo or death metal etc.

I hate emo almost as much as emo fans hate themselves. And that includes you too death metal, or any other genre with the word metal in it. We don't need to see you dressed in all black to know you hate your dad or whatever rediculous reson you have for listing to a grown man screaming into a microphone and sounding worse than cancer patient who lost their voice box.

I support this petition. Yes hayley i would critisise emo's because of who they are. But see it you can understand this, i put it to you that emo's are not just being themselves, they are not acting as individuals. No they are 'brainwashed' to buying into the latest fashion and they are all clones of each other. emo IS a the latest fashion subculture. I critise emo because these people are not being individuals they are latching onto an image to help define themselves and make themselves feel important. What you so disdainfully reffer to as 'normal' people are those who do not have to associate themselves with the next subcultural fad to define who they are. And calling people pathetic only to follow it up with using gay queers as a derogatory term shows a level of hypocracy that undermines your whole uninformed argument.
