On January 31st, 2009, Fairpoint will be disconnecting all @verizon.net email accounts and changing them into @myfairpoint.net. This will cause a huge disruption for the customers affected as they have to inform everyone they know that their email address is changing. Affected customers will also have to resubscribe to anything that is registered to that email address. This petition is to stop Fairpoint from changing customers' email addresses and causing many problems down the road.
