I hate NCLB! I have 3 kids. 1 got through school no problem before NCLB. My other 2 have had nothing but bad grades, failing tests, stress, etc... no matter how hard they try

There is a much larger petition that is getting some great attention and they hope to get a million sigs. Google no child left behind petition and it's the first hit.

Students need to stop memorizing and start learning. The Praxis test is also a load of crap. I don't know who's genius idea that was but i would love to know how they can get away with charging as much money as they do to run a damn scantron sheet through a automatic scorer.

Alright Mr. President why don't you take a walk through some level one schools in MS or AL and tell me how effective your "act" of concern is for these kids. 5th graders that can barely read or tell time. How did they make it to the 5th grade you ask? Because with all your careful thought into this if students don't improve on their standard test every single year schools lose funding and eventually close. Leaving these kids worse off than your term as president has left the rest of us.

It amazes me that they can require something so expensive and not give the schools money to do it. I wish politicians had to spend a year teaching befre being allowed to make laws on education!!!

That "No Child Left Behind" thing is a bunch of bull. Here in Colorado, an after school program has to pay 120 dollars for it. Before it was only 5 dollars!!! That no child left behind is a bunch of bullshit! I've created a pitition here to save the program. Sign that pitition and this pitition and we get to prove that George Dubbya is wrong!
