PJ's Pets needs to close down! The way the animal's are treated is absolutely atrocious! A large Facebook group has already been started, and here's the creator's story:

"I go in there on a regular basis and almost every time I have seen a dog sitting in his/her own poop with no water and no food. All of the dogs come from Puppy Mills and have many types of diseases (kennel cough, parvo, giardia, parasites, etc.) in which are not told to the customer. This establishment needs to be stopped before another family has to explain to thier kids why it is that the new family pet is dead. It's not just with the dogs, but all the animals they sell there. I recently spend a lot of money on a Chameleon there. (cage, heat lamps, etc.) I found out later from an employee that when I purchased him they failed to tell me that he had fell, hurt himself and needed special treatment from then on. When I asked the manager "Katie" there why this was not mentioned her response was: "If I would have told you, you would not have purchased him." How professional is that? Just goes to show how much they care for their animals and customers/ families who fall in love with these creatures just to lose them. It's only about making money to them. Then without surprise my Chameleon died after only having him for 2 months. When I went back to the store, we had them replace him with another one. Well, the new one had parasites because they do not de-parasite their lizards before putting them up for sale at ridiculous prices. He as well died shortly after. I called the head office to make a complaint and the gentleman there said and I quote "You must of Killed him." and refused to do anything about our situation. Being an animal lover, I cannot continue to watch them get away with mistreating these animals. I ended up calling the O.S.P.C.A. and the person that I spoke with confirmed with me that they have closed two of their stores recently due to the same reasons. They as well agreed that PJ's in Bramalea City Centre needs to be shut down for good. So what I'm asking from you is to sign a Petition to end this animal abuse. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me anytime."
