I have decided to try and take part in stopping horse killing. It is a horrible selfless act and it should be stopped ASAP.

Think of the majestic creatures. They deserve to have a life instead of being born and killed. If you have ever been horse riding or if you own a horse then you will know that they are beautiful creatures.

I heard the horse screaming as the train most every late evening passes by my home on its way to American Nutrition a huge dog food producer in Ogden, Utah The horse sounded terrifed crying out for help as it rode on a bumpy train for hundreds perhaps thousands of miles to its final destination to be slaughtered for dog food, a healthy horse killed for a few hundred dallors?? To be human we must be humaine..stop the killing the holocost is alive in Ogden Utah the train runs every night.

This is appalling. I watched a news special on CBC, The National and it brought me to tears to see some of the inhumane slaughtering of these beautiful animals-just because their meat is a delicacy in Europe and Japan. The Americans have banned it, so now it\'s Canada doing this. It makes me sick to my stomach!

I love horses and I have two of my own. I hate the fact that people would be suck f***ing dumbasses and kill these wonderful horses.I got very upset when I read Marek Wichrowski comment. I understand that horses so get old and have health problems but people dont have to kill them like they do.And what so wrong about it they dont euthanize them you idiot. They put a 4 inch nail in they head. And thats not what kills them so if you did your research you would see the wrong that is in this. And the part about euthanizing cats and dogs at least they get euthanized and not turned into steaks.The population is growing so does that mean we can kill people?? Maybe we should but just the sick people like you. Do everything in your power to stop slaughtering to any animal. I know im doing my part.

Ok,actually I don't support this petition. All of you people need to open your eyes and educate yourselves on the entire situation. You would honestly rather have a horse die of starvation because its teeth are so grinded down and old that it can't digest food very well, rather than having it put out of its misery? Would you like to starv to death? Also, just so that all of you know, there are many regulations set by the USDA and AVMA that prevents inhumane treatment of horses set for slaughter. I would also like to ask, why it's ok to euthanize thousands of cats and dogs a year, but we can't do the same with horses? Educate yourselves.
