This petition is for the sole purpose of ending what I have referred to as the "Worst Show EVER"

MTV needs to go back to it's roots and start showing music videos of "Good Bands", and lose the kiddy image it has got on itself now.

MTV is always preaching that people should not stereotype others, yet on all of their shows that is what they use as a cast. All of their shows have the same cast, a couple of dumb bimbo blondes, a tokin black guy/gal, and a homosexual. This nonsense needs to be stopped. The real world, and I don't mean the show, is not like that. People are not like those on mtv, life ain't pretty, get used to it and start letting tv reflect it.

If you are tired of rich people *****ing and moaning about how bad their lives are, and are sickened by the thought of this generation being nothing more than an army of paris hilton clones, then for god's sake, sign my petition and end this tragedy before it gets worse.

Actually, I don't support this petition. :) I think the term "stereotyping" means judging something before you know what it is all about. Laguna Beach may have it's share of rich kids who are spoiled, but it's also a reality show with alot of heart and soul to it. If you take away all the money and glamour, these kids experience things everyone can relate to growing up-first love, heartbreak, rejection, and trying to find a place to fit in in this crazy chaotic world. Really, who can relate to so-called reality shows such as Survivor or The Apprentice? Survivor features a good looking cast who are put on an island or some type of exotic location and are forced to fend for themselves, often turning on one another and showing the worst, most greedy side of humanity. All for MONEY! The Apprentice is the same deal---watch these beautiful, rich, HIGHLY EDUCATED individuals turn on each other to win a multi-million dollar contract to work for Mr. God-Awful Toupee Trump. Why not offer someone from the poor side of the town the same opportunity rather than a Harvard grad. who is inevitably going to succeed anyway? Atleast the show would have more meaning and heart that way. Moral of the story-don't be so quick to judge a book by it's cover. You never know what beauty is inside. :):)
