Goal Progress:
The Ontario Liberals are going to raise your taxes by 8% on a variety of goods and services that were not being taxed before. This is going to come into effect on July 1, 2010. They are going to blend the RST (also known as PST) and the GST. This will raise taxes from 5% to 13%. On a house that costs $5000,000.00 it will add $40,000.00. They are going to offset this for you by giving families $1000.00 and single people $300.00. This is nothing more than a tax grab from a Premier that has told us twice that he won't raise taxes.
If you want to send the Liberals a message that you don't want or agree with this new tax, then please sign this petition.
