How this sleazy scam cult ever conned its way to achieving tax-exempt status is mystery to me. IRS looks pretty stupid and to regain its integrity, IRS must cancel this status.
Having people follow your girlfriend into bathrooms to make sure she isn't talked out of joining your "religion" shows exactly why this isn't a religion at all.
The "Church" of Scientology is NOT a religion, at best it is a life management organization. But truly they are jokes, frauds, extortionist, and definitely
a cult.
The Church of Scientology is in no way shape or form a church of anything save for a group of self-indulgent, over paid and pampered actors and their pschophants. Please remove them and their monies from the list of actual churches that are doing great things around the world promoting Gods love and word to a very ill world.
What started as a poorly executed money-grab by a clever writer has turned into an abominable cult whose gospel actively and directly harms its followers.
What the hell?
Um, execuse but aren't all religions really just cults?
What, just because there 1 billion lemmings who send their hard earned money to the Vatican as opposed to to 10 folks who sign over their entire life savings to Jimmy Bob's 10th Tenticle Church of the Holy Alpha-tron and might even drink the cool-aid after graduation that you think the Catholic Church isn't a cult!?!?
What's the logic in eating some guy's flesh and drinking his blood? Sounds like some kind of cult ritual to me.
All churches of all religions should have their tax exemption removed. But might as well start somewhere....
