scientology has nothing to do with science or religion. It is a multi level marketing scheme that has government approval. Please REMOVE the tax exempt status of this abomination. And if you need to take it away from ALL the other religions as well... FEEL FREE!!
Am I the only one concerned that Tom had brainwashed this girl, lured her into bed, had his way with her, made a fool of himself in front of the world, got her pregnant, and they still have yet to get married? If that's what his dating life is like it's no wonder two of his marriages have failed and I pray Katie never makes to the altar (or whatever they use) and wakes up before the baby ends up and herself end up kicked to the curb by this black hole megalomaniac.

While I respect the rights of the people to practice Scientology if they choose I do not think this for-profit organization should have tax-exempt status.
Let me make one thing perfectly CLEAR .... there is nothing even remotely religious about what this group believes! Be aware too that they function under a variety of names so it's hard to track if your children are being exposed to their lunacy!!!
Having been in a relationship for FIVE YEARS with a guy who is into this ****, I completely understand the craziness that is this cult. We have agreed to disagree on this matter bc everytime I try to question him about practices or bring up issues that I personally have with "church" practices he goes nuts and says I'm intolerant and that I can't possibly love him if I can't accept his beliefs. They have TAUGHT him this style of argument!! I can't have a rational discussion with him and raise legitimate concerns because they have TAUGHT him that the world outside of Scientology is AGAINST him!!
This is not to continue. I was once a huge fan of Tom Cruise. Now I will never see another one of his movies. Same goes for Katie Holmes. Her poor parents must be heart broken to have lost their daughter.
