I, the undersigned, urge the United States Treasury Department to cancel the tax-exempt status currently extended to The Church of Scientology and its affiliated organizations under Section 501(c) of the U.S. Treasury Code.
By repeatedly and continuously showing signs of being a cult, The Church of Scientology has demonstrated that it is incapable of conducting itself in a manner expected of nonprofit groups receiving federal tax subsidies.
This "church" does not deserve tax exemption status. They make more than enough money squeezing the stupid and weak for thousands of dollars to learn the "ultimate truth"
Phooey!
the Co$ should of never gotten tax exemption and i think the rest of the U.S. would share the same objection if they new all the facts regarding this "church"
I used to work for a scientology based company. Even though I only got to suffer by not getting raises any benefits and getting paid barely above minimum wage after graduating from a university. I saw pwople loose their jobs and being demoted for not taking scientology classes. highschool drop outs were seen as more fiting for manager positions because they would be more likely to take those classes.
that place lacked any reasoning or even common sence
A money-making cult that milks its victims for every penny it can grab, while claiming to be a religion for tax purposes. Outlawed in Greece and Germany - why does the US continue to allow them?
