because I have seen the damage that ECT can do and don't think it should be preformed on anyone, much less children. There are other ways to stop the pain, without frying their brains!
It's so stupid that the do this at all. Not just to kids but to adults too. ECT blows big time and pyschs are full of crap and dont know what they're talking about.

Electroshock should only be used with the full informed consent, including revealing information about loss of memory, seizures, and death that sometimes occur. Children are unable to give this consent, and adults who give there consent for the child should first experience it themselves. Perhaps the N.Y legislature and Governor should first undergo this treatment, before they advocate its use for anyone.
ECT, and all psychiatry for that matter, is harmful to everyone, and is destroying people everywhere. People need to stop blindly supporting psychiatry and see what it really is.
Shock treatment was originally used to kill pigs. Now it's used to destroy children. We don't let them stick their fingers in wall sockets so why do we let them have their brains fried?
it is curl, vicious, devilish and evil. When you look at it, it is so frustrating when you see these psychiatrists declare the child's "illness" when only it's JUST NORMAL HUMAN emotion or JUST BECAUSE the child is NORMALLY like that-- showing EVERYBODY when you deeply look at it that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the child and that those psychiatrists are frauds! We must stop ETC and psychiatry!
The abuse has too stop.Its obvious psychiatry isn't helping anyone but destroying our men women and children and society as a whole(medical insurance ,the court system with their so called "professional opinion',etc.)
because as a journalist I have interviewed several individuals who informed me they have been "violated" and "brutalized" by court sanctioned ECT treatments. One MD I spoke with said: "We really do not know how ECT actually works and what the eventual outcomes will be in most cases."
because I had shock treatments as a child. It should not happen to ANYONE, much less to children!!! Leave barbarism behind. Leave false and dangerous practices in the past!
because it is insane to shock a child!!! People go to jail everyday because they spank their kids...but it's okay for a doctor to shock them??? I don't think so!!!
