Ontario's largest university workers' union CUPE and it's leader Mr. Sid Ryan is proposing a ban on Israeli academics teaching in the province's universities, in a move that echoes previous attempts to boycott goods and services from the Jewish state.

The resolution, proposed by CUPE's Ontario University Workers Coordinating Committee, is in protest against a Dec. 29 bombing that damaged the Islamic University in Gaza, which was used for meetings of senior Hamas officials.

If Mr. Sid Ryan, as their leader of CUPE Ontario, had unanimously passed a resolution condemning the barbarous tactic and practice of sending rockets on the civilian population, of sending explosives-rigged "martyrs" into Israeli restaurants, resorts, and wedding parlors, then I think he would at least cover both sides of the coins when he condemns the bombing that damaged the Islamic University in Gaza.

This petition is to urge Mr. Ryan and his union, to stop their anti Semitic policies, and refrain from making one sided arguments, which is a practice that goes against all union policies. The leadership of the union should not utilize its power to spread anti Semitic policies!

Thank God, he keeps losing elections.
