Hollywood has nothing new under the sun. I support this petition alright. I'd rather see a reworking of an unmade movie, Like WAR EAGLES, THE PRIMEVALS, TIMEGATE. Or something imaginative like that.

I think that a remake of such a wonderful and unique film as "Suspiria" released today would be a critical and economical disaster. I for one, will not be buying a ticket.
If you truly love this film, you must understand that you absolutely can't improve it in any way! If you're only in it for the money I think you're better off remaking some other film with more commercial appeal.

The trend in the last decade or more is to ruin very good films. Please don't let this happen to Suspira. Rememeber "Pyscho" and that was remade by a good director and it was still terrible. The standards are far too high to meet; try creating a new story.

It would be one thing if there were a legitimate reason to remake a movie like this. However, it's obvious that the people who have this in mind for a remake are only hoping to appeal to teenyboppers with a classic masterpiece that is modernized. God forbid anyone should discover that there were actually good movies that happened before they were born!

I agree, it should not be remaid, even though it has many disadvantages. instead I sugest they make a sequel, that's inspired by the original, but has a different story.

I am surprised that there are very little signatures! Anyway, I have not seen Suspiria, although I have viewed one clip where the witch enters the room with the knife and the heroine strikes back. It looks good and sounds good, and overall, remakes should be stopped if it is unlikely they will improve upon the original.
