nyc was like a supprting actor in the movie and so were the subways. please dont make the remake youll ruin it if you take it out of ny. the movie was more of a grity70s nyc movie like taxi driver,midnight cowboy,the french connection not a california bloods and crips movie.

I'm anticipating, if this is remade, 2 hours of the same stuff we saw on t.v. after the Katrina waters receded, and 10 dollars that my movie theater won't ever see.

its a classic movie and if they were to remake it they should do like the lion king did with hamlet, change the tital and alot of the story so none of the original fans can identify it

Please do not ruin a classic. There is no possibility that the remake will bring justice to Walter Hill's The Warriors. It will flop and be a waste of time and money, as well as failure to the production company.
Don't do it. It will never, ever be as good as the first. There is a feel and a vibe to the only movie worthy of the name The Warriors. It's not broken, so don't try to fix it.
Change the name to something else, other than one group of individuals trying to make it from point A to point B, there are no similarities. DO NOT RUIN THE ORIGINAL...this movie should in no way be tied into the original Warriors film.
They cant even claim this as a remake when they virtually erase all the original characters and gangs and turn this classic movie into another pathetic hip hop gang story. STOP RUINING CLASSIC MOVIES!!!
