I support this petition. There is no need for a remake of 'The Warriors', when everything about the original is perfect. Especially when they're trying to remake it with actual gangs (bloods and crips) to make it feel more real. If i wanted to see real gangs, i'd go in the city. Don't ruin the original or the remake. It sounds like a bad idea in ever way shape and form.

I support this petition. I do like the director's cut (I haven't seen the original, and this one did move me). But no one can take out the old gangs and still do good. This goes with the old saying, if it isn't broke then don't fix it.

The re release after the video game came out was upsetting enough because it introduced the movie to a whole new generation, who then in turn thought it was real and acted like fictional late 70's gangsters. So re making this is horrible and for that mater why the hell set it in L.A this time.

I support this petition. This movie told a story about something unique to that era which made it so significant. By modernizing it, setting it in Los Angeles, and using more violent gangs with nothing in mind but looking cool in the eyes of today's fashion-oriented society, your ruining the movie.
