uh-huh. i like tony scott movies - but for gawd's sake leave this one alone...the problem is that good or bacd, it becomes too easy for the pop media to access the actors/ makers/ merchandise and so the original gets buried...and MTV!?!...shudder....
This if my absolute favorite movie and I would hate to see it's reputation suffer because of a bad MTV produced remake! Director Tony Scott doesn't have the style or the vision to make a movie of this calibur. Leave it alone and go make something original! Tony Scott; at the very least don't name the film 'The Warriors', that name is already taken by a superb 1979 film by Walter Hill!
Come on, Hollywood - you seem to be missing the point. Sincere camp like this cannot be remade; make it intentionally campy and you have another "Stepford Wives" debacle. Tony Scott needs to pull his head out.

A few years ago my dad introduced me to the warriors and i was blown away even though the film was dated by over 20 years it still amazed me and there is no need to be remaking this film why try to make something better when it is amazing anyway!!!

This revisionist version of the "The Warriors" will suck, just like "Catwoman," "Godzilla," "Charlie's Angels," and countless other "updates" of pop culture icons that Hollywood has butchered. God knows that it will only be an excuse for various hip hop artists to show off their acting "skills." PLEASE, LEAVE THIS CLASSIC MOVIE ALONE, and think of something orginial! I'm sick of remakes!

The original has too much charm! It's gritty and foul -all the new movies lack that, remaking this would be like remaking Conan the Barbarian - it would suck the soul out of it.
I'm heart broken. i have been fearing this ever since i heard about the assault on precient 13 remake. Hollywood you souless bastards.I refuse to let this movie go without a fight, not this one.
