just dont do it, the original is perfect just as it is. if you have to re release it with a shed load of special features, but just leave the film alone.
The original was and still is amazing. A remake will just be full of glitz and bad actors trying to improve on something that's already perfect. Leave well enough alone and come up with an original idea.
Can't anyone come up w/ their own ideas these days. We've seen horrible remakes of Planet of the Apes, Texas Chainsaw. Now The Warriors and Willy Wonka? No mas por favor!
So why'd you do it? No reason I just like doing things like that!
Classics such as this should be left as they are...great cinema for the time in which they were made. If you think producing a remake of an all-time cult-classic is a great idea...remember the 1998 remake of Psycho.
This one goes out to hollywood and MTV, they think they can make a classic even better! wake up and try and have an original thought in your anal retentive lives.
3 Reasons why they shouldn't remake this movie:
1: It can't ever be nearly as good as the original.
2: "The Warriors" was a great 'period' piece in 1979. It captured the era and had an "ahead of its time" feel to it, a remake would have no modern significance.
3: Remakes are bullshit.
not another p***poor remake! when will they accept people want something new and original, not more dross. I refuse to go to cinema to see remakes on principle (producers: look up that last word)
