Oh good god. MTV will butcher this classic. By the time those MTV cloned automatons are through with it the only thing recognizable will be the title. MTV should stick to what they know and make a stupid band movie about Green Day or something.

The remake is suppose to go straight to TV-Movie. I think MTV will be producing it.. let's face it.. Mtv makes shitty ass movies. Plus it's suppose to be more modern.. what do you mean more guns? F-that! I'd go with the 1970's version over the 2000's any day.
I watch the WARRIORS at least three time a year, and have done so since first seeing it in l98l on WHT! Please stop this madness with the remakes..especially my all time favorite film.

Itīs a mark in time and to "redo" it is simply silly. Itīs like makeing another Style Wars. There stories from the past that are good just for that reason. Damn itīs just gonna be dumb.
Why stop w/ the Warriors...there is Gone w/ the Wind, Once upon a Time in West, Casablanca, any of the Gilligan Island movies, Blacula, Enter The Dragon, Foxy Brown and the classic Incredibly Strange Creatures who Stopped Living and Became Mixed up Zombies aka Teenage Pycho meets Bloody Mary.

In short a crap modern day take for the MTV generation, the original cannot be beaten, a remake talked of just as a game is being made go figure.
i don't know if the remake will be good or not. But to many remakes are being made and this one is another one that didn't need to be made. I DONT care if it was in the 70's it was a fine movie and doesnt' need to be remade i am sure the new one will be good but HOLLYWOOD must stop this bullshit of remaking old movies that didn't need to be remade in the first PLACE!

I live in LA and from my obsevations, Hollywood is FULL of lame wannabes without an original thought in their head, and most of the movies coming out of this town certainly reflect that. MTV Get Off The Air!
