Is nothing sacred? This is such a bad idea on so many levels I don't know where to begin. Every couple of months, when I'm feeling down, I pop in "The Warriors" and everything is all right. Don't cheapen one of my favorite movies by going through with this remake! Just change the title so that NO ONE will ever tie these two movies together. This film will never date, so a remake is completely unnecessary. Taking it in a "new, exciting" direction is also a completely redundant idea - have a look at how new and exciting the new direction was for the remake of Assault on Precinct 13.
