As we all probably know by now, YouTube is one of the most popular video websites on the Internet. But now, they are taking down most music PVs, due to copyright and stuff.
This petition aims to get many signatures as possible, to stop this. Why? It's free publicity for whoever is on the video, and allows people to sample vieos before they buy them, and then end up discarding them or something.
So please, please, PLEASE, get this petition all over the Internet, and keep what we want on YouTube.

I too am very annoyed about this Youtube copyright business. I know, it's against the law to post that stuff, but I agree with FAIR USE, and that it's a free country, and we should be able to see stuff that hasn't been aired in years, and most likely never again. And now look--Youtube is going straight down the toilet because of this new copyright filtering system this month. You Tube is full of crap when it comes to telling people to remove videos liek,say an I Love Lucy episode or an MTV video or whatever.Whether you are liberal, conservative, or whatever this issue bothers everyone. And we want You Tube to stop taking away everyone's videos!. We live in a free country, and DAMMIT we need have a God -Given right to download and see any videos we want!So You TUbe, PLEEEEEASE, stop playing pattycake with media companies and let us download their material. Because last night, I went to dcbatwing's website (you know with all the Retro DC TV Stuff) and the videos were taken down to copyright issues... I enjoyed viewing them. Youtube people, wake up. It is a free country and Youtube copyright policies need to have a makeover right now because I'm afraid that the videos that I view is going to be taken down because of some stupid copyright issue!

I will too sign. I will not stand people losing their videos and having their accounts suspended over some petty copyright issues. It's time everyone in the YouTube community has the freedom to post whatever videos they want, whenever they want without any cease-and-desist BS from YouTube or copyright holders. No matter if you're liberal, conservative, or independent. The fact of the matter is that this here is a free country. We of the YouTube community have a god-given right to post any videos we want without any gainsay from anybody. AMEN!
