I support this petition. It's not right to prevent something from being made. the U.S. citizens don't go over and shut down a factory because people get hurt there, and it pollute the air. So why would it be right for the government to do it to us.

2-strokes are not only a popular bike, they are a lifestyle for riders out there.
I grew up with and still have a two stroke, nothing sounds and rides like them.
I and many others I know would be utterly devistated if this were to happen.
i support and i am 17 and i have been riding bikes since i was 3 and i will be going for my L plates next year and i have a suzuki rgv 250 and have done a complete rebuild and have spent over $2000 on it and i know how to ride a bike since i have raced a bikes like a nsr 125 and know my two strokes thanks and please do not banne two strokes
I support this petition. Mainly because I built a 2 stroke moped out of a bike and it is a great way to get around and save gas. They dont make 4 stroke motors that fit on bicycles.

This is a good example of it. How can you be against the fact that exhaust gasses become more clean? 4 stroke lasts longer, consumes less fuel and pollutes less. In cars 2 stroke engines vanished 20 years ago. 2 stroke engines are definitely gonna get banned and it sure is a good thing.

I support this petition. 2 strokes are better, sound better cheaper to maintain and now that they are almost extinct theyre cheaper to buy. andmore competitive riders ride two strokes and lazy riders ride four strokes. bring bak two strokes!!
It's simple, without all this money invested in 2-strokes, they are still light and efficient. Cost less to maintain, and have so many practical uses it's not funny. Lawnmowers, hedge trimmers etc etc. anything that needs a small engine. A LIGHT small engine. I'm sure diesel 2-strokes will be the most efficient engine type. Biofuel, hydrogen, it can be done, i'm sure. Loosen up, political tossers.
DONT ban 2-strokes. They are true race bikes: lighter and better handling! Most ppl like 4-strokes cuz they're easy to ride so all the amateurs think they're better! If you practice you'll see a 2-stroke is way faster! Learn to utilize the powerband!

2-stroke VS Diesel emission - Hmm- seems to me that diesel engines emit hundreds of times more pollution than 2-stroke engines do. Come on people, WAKE UP.
Why take something awesome and make it SUCK!! And what about noise pollution? You can hear them stupid 4 strokes from miles away, just like a big speaker in someones car. They sound like an oversize whoopie cushion. I'll stick to changing my piston for 120 bucks and 90 munutes of my time. And I'll be the guy riding a 2007 cr250 in 2027!!
2 stroke emissions arent that much greater than 4 strokes because of their small engine sizes. also, the pinging and wailing is the coolest sound on earth.
I'm not going to do the finger pointing junk some of you others are doing. I'm a dirt biker, and I dont want to see the 2 strokes demise. Now, if manufacturers just can't sell them, thats a whole other issue right there.
they can't take away something you own. lets say 1 out of 100 people have a dirtbike. how many of those are 2-strokes. Compare this to how many people own lawn mowers weed wackers and other yard equipment and then you'll get the point.
Each to his own, but two strokes have a history, and a reputation that four strokes fail to even compare. Admitadely they are very polluting, but owners pay for it with tax and petrol costs. When (and they wil be banned) two strokes are banned it isn't gona stop anyone from riding them, only the sale of them.

I have a 2-stroke, It would suck if they were banned, not everyone can afford to just store them and get 4-strokes, we should be able to keep them . and whoever said you wouldn't be able to get fuel for your boat and snowmobile and so on.....You mix regular gas with 2-stroke Oil to to run the engines, it's not a special type of gas that they sell MORON GO HONDA!!!!!
If this was for real, then you wouldn't even be able to get fuel for your boat, snowmobile or even your chainsaw, and probably a few other machines.
