We, the undersined, petition against Harry Potter stupidness over the 6th book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. What we mean by stupidness is bashing over ships, "OOC" characters, and how the book is like "a giant fanfic".

We would like the bashers to understand that this book was written by J.K. Rowling and it is impossible for the characters she made to be OOC, meaning Out of Character, as she created them. Her book is not like a fanfic. In fact, without her books, there would not be fanfics at all!

J.K. Rowling does not write her books to please you: she is allowed to write whatever she wants. This includes the ships. I am sorry if your precious ships did not sail, but J.K. is not doing it to make you angry, trust me. J.K. is the author, not you.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, are trying to stop stupidness in the fandom, and to stop bashing of our beloved author, J.K.R.
