Superman IV, the theatrical Cut, is a badly edited hack of a movie. Perhaps if we were to see a fuller, more cohesive film, than it might be a bit better. If a director's cut of Superman IV was to be made available, I would definitely reevaluate it. Please give all of the movie going public the chance to see this film in a better cut. Thanks.
I support this petition since the film should be seen as it was meant to be seen. There is a directors cut for Supergirl, so why not Superman IV. The DVD would most definitely sell.

Warner you have the rights to the film now there's no reson you can't produce a restored version or version which includes the cut scenes as extras....do it...do it...
It would be interesting to see the original 134 minute version, but the current one is totally hilarious because of how poor the editing is. A longer version will still suck, but it would be the full movie. I hope it gets released eventually.
If there is a way to make this movie more cohesive, it would be an excellent way of remembering the late Chris Reeve as the dawn of a new Superman approaches.
WARNER BROS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put this film out, and take out Gene Hackman's voice as Nuclear Man, it's stupid, give Mark Pillow back his original voice!
