By signing this petition, I agree with the following statements.

Jodie44 is a strong, solid, stable contributor to the Answerbag community. Her question and answer submissions are consistently positive and helpful.

Jodie44 is relentessly targeted by a small faction of Answerbag users that have actively attempted to tarnish her reputation through repeated character attacks. The trolling has been observed, but never halted. A specific question with an external link to urbandictionary.com was not removed as spam/offensive, despite content that overtly and cruelly targeted Jodie and other AB members. The repeated attacks qualify as cyber bullying, and we as a community support our most quality users. It is the cyber bullying that needs to be checked and punished.

I, as an Answerbag user, may not know or understand every condition and circumstance for this ban. In fact, it would be silly to assume a role in an AB history in which I may not have participated. Nevertheless, I can cite from my own experiences that I have not had any negative interactions with Jodie44. I accept and understand that accusations and blame may be pointed, but this does not necessarily constitute the truth. I feel that the crime here does not fit the punishment. I feel that it is possible that misinformation and harmful motives are responsible for such a decision.

I recognize that lifetime bans are a serious matter, and that the staff probably took great care in coming to this decision. But, unlike other banned members, Jodie has neither attacked Answerbag as a website nor any of its users. Jodie was extricated from the website, seemingly out of nowhere, which was startling and disruptive for the community.

I acknowledge that Jodie does, in fact, have more than one account. We as a community are not necessarily condoning this. At the same time, we can only speculate about the nature of these accounts. Jodie, at the very least, deserves the opportunity to explain the situation. As a true leader in this community and a friend to many, I want to see the account of member Jodie44 reactivated. I do not believe that Jodie wishes to manipulate or vindicate through the points system. I am a friend of Jodie44. I want my voice, just one in the community, to stand by a point of view that was overshadowed in this particular ruling.
