CBS, what on God's green earth were you thinking? Appalling. Worst decision ever made by a network. I say: hello The Apprentice 2. Won't be watching CBS anymore.
I can't believe this is happening. CBS is definitely making a huge mistake firing these two excellent actors from the show. I seriously hope this is some sick rumor, or if this is true, the producers will hear our voices and reconsider. BECAUSE WITHOUT NICK AND SARA, CSI WILL NOT BE CSI AS IT USED TO BE ANYMORE. And you're going to lose tons and tons of viewers after this terrible decision. I know I for sure will quit watching CSI if Eads and Fox leave. I will not watch Miami or NY as a sign of my indignant anger, nor will I purchase any more of CSI-related merchandise. God knows how much money and time it will save me!
Please don't ruin the show by letting them go. We need them. And YOU,among all, need them as despeartely as we all do.
No i agree with Teenie i would hate to see the show to be 'The Catherine Show' ( Not like it isn't any way) Catherine. Though im not saying i'd like her to go. PLease don't do this CBS!

I think csi has good a great storyline and the acting cast is fantastic. If Jorja and George are replaced by other actors i think that it definatley won't be the same as both George and Jorja are a part of what the show CSI is. As a fan of CSI i think that it's fair to say that Sarah isn't the same without Jorja portraying her and the same goes with George for Nick.
I have been watching CSI from the start, and even though Catherine and Grissom are my favorite characters, I would be devastated if we lost Nick and Sara. The people at CBS aren't thinking. If they don't get Jorja and George back, their ratings will plummet. I cried when I heard. CSI will not function without them. If CBS has any brains, they'll bring them back. If not, they may lose another viewer. Please. Bring them back.
IM a aussie and when i resieved the news at school from a friend i just thought it was a joke, it is a joke, a joke that CBS thinks they can pull it off without These two amazing people.
Although CBS doesn't seem to realise it, many people watch CSI for the wonderful characters, a mistake they will most likely only realise after ratings drop if they do follow through in firing Jorja and Sara as myself and no doubt many other CSI fans stop tuning in

Im so upset im crying, i even cried at school and you know what CBS?! as a result of that, people i don't even know have all got together to give JF and GE support, does that not show you how great these actors are, if you let them go im sure it will be the end of CSI. I have been watching CSI from the very beginning and one of the main reasons why I kept watching was because of the actors George Eads and Jorja Fox. They bring a lot to the show with their amazing talents and I, for one, would not be watching the show should CBS decide to fire these two talented actors.
News of the sackings has only just reached Australia. Im sure i speak on behalf of all Aussie CSI fans when i say this is outrages.CSI is the No1 show on Tuesday nights is Aus. If this sacking remains, CSI will go from No 1 to No 1000. You have lost a veiwer here.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION has been part of my life eversince its first season. It positively affected my beliefs, my work and my life. And so I know that because of this event, things would definitely change. FIRING THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS OF CSI IS A TERRIBLE MISTAKE. I don't even believe for a second that they cannot give the demands of the actors because their spin-offs are sprouting like mushrooms. I'M SPEAKING IN BEHALF OF ALL THE AVID FANS OF CSI HERE IN THE PHILLIPINES. WE ARE ALL PISSED BY THIS TURN OUT AND HOPE THE PRODUCERS WILL RECONSIDER.
How on earth could this be happning, are they on drugs? To fire two brilliant actors is pretty much tying their own nooses. Both of JF and GE earned their raises so come of it CBS, you Will lose more money in the long run if you sack both these beutiful people.I Know i will never watch anything to do with CBS if they don't bring back GE and JF. It is not fair to kick them out, really not. I was never a big fan of Sara-character becuase I adore Catherine but the women are like day and night and you cannot love both. But we need both. There HAS to be Marg and Jorja.
And not to forget George Eads - what is going on here please? He is an actor and we want him, we need him ....

I just heard that the show has axed two important actors, Jorja Fox and George Eads and I cannot tell how disappointed I am with this decision. I strongly believe CBS are doing the actors, the show and the viewers a great injustice with this decision. Every cast change will affect the show. And firing two great actors, who have done nothing more than portraying their character in a sublime way, will make CSI lose its viewers and fans. This show has always great ratings, but that's because the great on-screen chemistry between the actors. CSI has put to much emphasis on William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger and forgot about the rest of the cast. It is important to keep in focus that the cast as A WHOLE is CSI. Losing two actors means losing CSI.
No replacement can fix this. Jorja Fox is the only Sara Sidle and George Eads is the only Nick Stokes. They have helped CSI become so big and so popular. I think CBS has only shown arrogance and ingratitude with this decision.
I cannot believe you CBS did this, you ruined the whole show, if you think the show can survive without excellent actors, your are sooo wrong!!! I support JF and GE, i appreciate their great works on the show. I will no longer watch this show (including MIAMI and NY), Someone in CBS is really stupid!!!
This show was actually a nice relief, come home from work and watch my favortie show. Sara was and will be the best character that was ever on there. I will no longer watch this show!
IT Makes me sick to think that this news is true. For many reasons; for one the whole chemistry between Grissom and Sara, well will .. not EXSIST even if they cast a new Sara. Simply because the portrail of the character will never be the same, i believe as most peole do that the actor is part of the character. Jorja Fox is truly an amazing actress and her alone has made the show what it is, no other actress could bring Sara to life as Jorja Fox does. AND to GeT RID OF SARA COMPLETELY well thats just...no words can explain it! IT WILL BE THE DOWN FALL OF CSI if they get rid of Jorja fox. I will defintly never watch or buy anything to do with CBS if Jorja Fox is not brought back as i know that would be the case for many other people.( The grammer and spelling mistakes are the result of only how utterly shocked and upset i am)

CSI already has many flaws in terms of storylines and character development (if there IS). Now firing two of the original and main characters from the show? I used to wait eagerly in front of the TV to watch CSI S1-3. I stopped doing so from the middle of S4. Now I guess I'll never have to do so.
Excuse me?!?! but do TPTB have any idea what-so-ever of what they've just done to the show? They basically just trampled it into the mud after ripping out the heart of the show and feeding it to the vultures.

I am so sad about the firing of George Eads and Jorja Fox that I think I might cry. I am begging you to reconsider the firing of these two great characters. The show will not be the same without them. I don't want filler actors with the same names, I want George and Jorja! Please Hire them back.
It saddens me to hear this. I was completely taken aback at the firing of George Eads and Jorja Fox. For shame, you just took a risk and will ultimately pay the price in the end. Viewer ship will drop as has already been stated by us devoted fans. The number one show in the country will fail miserably. These two actors are integral to the show as much as the other cast-members are, you're breaking up the CSI family. And I for one do not approve. Reconsider and bring them back.
I think many CSI fans will agree, there will never be as wonderful a connection between the cast that shines through their work as the cast of the original CSI. Losing Jorja & George is just terrible, and the show will lose everything that is special and all that sets it apart from the spin-off's if they're gone.
The loss of Jorja and George to this show will prove to be detrimental in the long run. As a relatively new fan, I know I will no longer watch this show for the sole reason that Nick and Sara are two of my favorite characters. And I know I'm not alone...legions of hardcore fans are following me right out the door of CSI fandom. So if you're out to LOSE money in the long run, CBS...keep it up.
The success of the show does not lie in the procedural crime drama or the "neat" special effects, it is in the chemistry of the 7 main actors. All the fans have known this for some time, but it will take losing two incredible cast members to make you realize this too, CBS. Good luck recasting or hiring replacements - the fans will not be receptive.

I am totally devastated at hearing about Jorja and George, I am a CSI fanatic, though my favourite is Billy Petersen, but without Jorja and George it just won't be the same.

Without Jorja and George CSI will no longer be the CSI that the 25 million people tune into to watch every week. I am sadded to hear that you (CBS) could be so pathetic to sack two of the most important people in the show.
Reconcider your mistake, and rehire them. They deserve a raise, and you know it.
There goes your number one slot! Jorja Fox and George Eads have very loyal fan followings, and they will likely no longer be watching CSI. Truthfully, half the reason I watch this show is for Jorja, and the other half is for the relationship between the character's; Grissom and Sara.
If not brought back, I am sorry to say that CSI will not be on my agenda on Thursday nights, and CBS will not be a station I watch anymore whatsoever.
The essence of CSI being the great show that it is, is the balance and connection between the cast. This will be lost if Jorja and George are not there. Therefore the enjoyment to watch CSI is lost and I will not consider to watch the original or any spinoffs you consider.
Please reconsider your decision and keep what I feel, is a loyal fan base.
I am totally in a state of shock that they would destroy a number 1 hit show over money.I am totally a GS fan and without Jorja what is there? To me "To cut off your nose to spite your face" is stupid.
I am deeply saddened to hear about the terminations of Jorja Fox and George Eads. Without them, I have no interest whatsoever in continuing to watch CSI. I hope CBS does the right thing and brings them back.
As George Eads and Jorja Fox are the only reasons I watch CSI, I will be looking for a new show to watch at 9 on Thursdays if these two actors won't be returning for season 5.
CSI is a procedural drama and all true fans of this show know this 'but' it isn't the science but the actors that give a heart to the show. It's the teamwork and the chemistry of five wonderful and talented actors that let us stay tuned on week after week. You cannot simply replace two actors without destroying the chemistry. Fans won't bear with you any longer if this is really true.
I tell you what---this show will go down the drain if Jorja and George are not hired back to CSI.
Might as well pull the plug on the entire show now before things get even murkier.
I sincerely hope this is all just some publicity stunt, because there are literally thousands of viewers who are threatening to stop watching CSI if Jorja Fox and George Eads cease to be on the permanent cast.
The reason CSI was able to beat ER in the ratings is because the actors and their characters are NOT replaceable. CSI without Ms. Fox and Mr. Eads will NOT be the same, and it WILL suffer. As will CBS's pocketbook, because I will no longer purchase DVDs, books, or computer games. Nor will I watch any other CBS show (inlcuding the precious CSI:NY) if these wonderful actors do not return.
CSI is not CSI without Jorja and George. If you think that CSI will go on as the number one show without them, forget it. You've lost a lot of viewers because of this nonsense.
CSI's ratings will suffer and CBS will struggle to stay on top with these two phenomenal actors gone. CSI won't be the same without all that Nick and Sara add to it, therefore, CSI is dead to me.

I'm not too concerned with George Eads or his character on the show, but please don't make us suffer without Jorja Fox or her character 'Sara Sidle'!
Sara Sidle is my favorite character on CSI, and she is played to absolute perfection by Jorja Fox. Any other actress used in her place just wouldn't be able to give the kind of earnest heart and soul "realness" that Jorja gives to her character.
I beg of you, please get Ms. Fox back on the show!
I am shocked and appalled that George Eads and Jorja Fox have been fired from CSI. Jorja Fox is my favorite actor on the show, and her acting is second to none. If Jorja isn't portraying Sara Sidle, then I will not be watching CSI anymore. I won't be buying any CSI merchandise, or viewing the other CSI spinoffs either. I implore you to please reconsider and bring Jorja Fox and George Eads back. Without these two fine actors, this show just isn't the same. They are as irreplacable as William Petersen is.
Not only will you lose the support of the fans, the quality of the show will plummet. This is a huge mistake and I sincerely hope it is not too late to change it.
