Sara is the best! Her character is so faceted - I love her, and her relationship with Grissom. We have grown to know these characters; they cannot be replaced.
I am shocked, appalled, angry, but mostly saddened by this short-sighted move by CBS. Ms. Fox and Mr. Eads are an integral part of the CSI cast, and the show will never be the same without them. You've broken up the team, the family, and in doing so, I feel like you have sabotaged my favorite show. The fans watch CSI for the great writing and the intriguing storylines, but what Mr. Moonves might not realize is that the main reason we watch is because of the incredible cast. You have just broken up the best ensemble on television and it makes me very sad. I still can't believe this has actually happened, and I truly hope it's not too late to fix this major mistake. Please reinstate Jorja Fox and George Eads.
How could you fire two of the biggiest stars of the show? Do you realize how many viewers you will lose???? CBS you seriously are making a big mistake and I will not watch if thats the case. Usually a show has my loyalty even with cast changes, but not this time, there are plenty of other things to occupy my time, so I will no longer take time out to watch CSI.

This is a shame, the show was good because of the actors. CSI miam is less watched in France because the team is not as appealing as the LasVegas team. It's a shame.

CBS you really need to think about this one. If William Peterson decides to leave at the end of the next series well then all I can say is that you're screwed basically. You would have lost 3 out of the 5 main characters!!! Stupid!
I don't think this is a show like ‘e.r.’ that can drop and acquire new members whenever the producers decree it – CSI revolves around a small team working together and bouncing off each other and adding a few new replacement characters like Greg and bringing them through to CSI status cannot make up for this kind of slapdash approach to casting. These people helped make this show a hit – they deserve the money!

This is an outrage. CBS can not be allowed to break up one of the greatest casts in the history of television. They tried to duplicate the chemistry of CSI's cast on that Miami reject, and failed miserably! I for one am tired of all the network's money going to "reality show" contestants. If Jorja and George want more money, give it to them! They deserve it more than "15 minute"nobodys.

Firing two of the actors in the ensemble cast for CBS' number one show is a very arrogant and poorly thought out idea. The two chracters are integral to the team that makes up CSI, just as Jorja Fox and George Eads are integral to the characters they play. To recast the roles in the 5th season of the show would simly be absurd, and removing the characters entirely would leave a big void. Bring them back!
People don't watch CSI just because they are such huge fans of CBS. They watch it for the characters on the show. Stupid to mess with a good thing. If it's not broke, don't try and fix it with duct tape!

Huge mistake to fire two of the younger members of the CSI cast (no offence to Marg Helgenberger or William Petersen intended)… the great chemistry between these characters is evident on the show and it is too bad CBS could not iron out a better deal for them. CBS’s impulsive action will lead to a drop in viewers and probably the loss of their most popular show.
I say we storm the feedback stuff on CBS.com until the have to bring them back. CBS is WAY NOT COOL. They better better better bring them back or they are gonna be headless. Every little bit counts. If we can get lotsa people on this petition, they will need to listen to us. THEY BETTER!
This is a bunch of bull. CBS has done allot of stupid mistakes in the past, cancelling "The Agency" and "The District". And now they fired two of their most popular stars in one of the most watched dramas on Thursday nights. Get the cob out of your rears and make this right.
CBS should have fired Marg and that annoying, squeaky voice girl in CSI Miami instead of Jorja and George. I hope that the ratings will drop big, just to prove that CBS made a mistake.
