I love George Eads on this show. He is handsome, yet is able to exude humility and even a shyness in his character. He is strong and one of the pillars of CSI. I would hate to have to stop watching the show in support of his request for a better salary. As for Jorja, she isnt my favorite character and frankly wouldnt miss her.
If you people at CBS have actual proof that they are ruining the show, than fine, fire away, but something tells me you got zilch proof! So what the hell are you fooks thinking???!!!
I recently heard the news that two of the main CSI's being fired, George Eads and Jorja Fox. Quite frankly I think that this will ruin the show. I have been a fan of CSI since it first came out and own all three seasons on DVD so far. With the addition to CSI:NY, two new replacements would make the show loose its originality. I think that with this decision you will be loosing many fans. I know that it was not your decision, but if there is anyway to re-negotiate the plans, it would be greatly appreciated by CSI fans everywhere, including myself. I love CSI so much, and I would hate to find another show to watch at 9. Thank you for reading this and taking it into consideration,

Part of the reason this show is so popular is the ensemble element - in particular between the five CSI's played by William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan AND Jorja Foz and George Eads. Without Jorja and George the ensemble element won't be the same - I hope CBS etc will reconsider what seems a hasty decision.
No more CSI in my house. My entire family is livid at the firing of two such important characters. Whether you like it or not, a good story is character driven. We can only take so much gore, but the characters are what makes this show so good.

I only watch 4 shows...three of them are on CBS, and one of them ISN'T CSI Miami!That show pretty much sucks, and now you want the original to follow? What's wrong with a raise? Unions have contracts, but they still get a raise now and then. WAKE UP!

Jorja and George are 2 of the most beloved characters on the show.... not too mention how they add to the chemistry of the show.
It takes the fans of CSI to keep the show on the air. And we can easily ignore the show like it never exsited just to show you guys at CBS that we are people to. we have a right, a say in what we want to watch. and right now if you cut george eads you won't have a show. whoever fired them should be fired.

I am very unhappy about the firing of the 2 CSI stars, George Eads and Jorja Fox. They deserve more money as the show has such a popular viewer base and the stars on THIS CSI can actually ACT, unlike Miami whose characters, especially Caruso and his ridiculous, putrid glasses, cannot act a line correctly for any salary. I can't stand to watch Miami and have been a long-time viewer of the original. I believe all the actors on CSI should have a pay increase since they are the ones whose acting has created a phenomenon that CBS just wants to cash in on. I am sorry to miss watching William Peterson give a stellar performance every week along with his talented costars, but CBS and their firing decision has determined this. I will be the first to inform those regular viewers I know (and we're not talking just a few; I have many friends at a couple of police departments and through college) to boycott watching this show due to CBS' fatal mistake. Eads and Fox both deserve to get paid more than Caruso deserves a dollar for his failing performance. Him leaving NYPD Blue back in the day should have given you a hint what a piece of work he is; however, since you seem to think something like Big Brother is so great, it proves what worthy people are your decision-makers on what is on the air and what is not. I only hope that if Eads and Fox are not rehired, they go on to a bigger project to earn more money and notoriety than you worthless greedy people ever do. They at least deserve it for the characters they portray.
You shouldn't do that. Without these 2 actors the show wouldn't be the same. The chemistry of the whole team is the most important factor of the show. You can't replace 2 characters.
What were they thinking? Aside from people's personal feelings, what will happen to the ratings? George and Jorja were some of my favorites. They will never be gone in my eyes.
Keep george eads on the show. if you don't I will no longer buy cbs merchandise or watch csi. I will keep my dvd collection of csi. that way I will always remember and get to see the original cast. if you guys at cbs fires george eads you too will receive a pay cut. a major cut, so major it hurts.
I just want to say that this is the worst ,the foolest thing that the CBS could have done. Jorja and George are two of the soul members of the show who brought you hige rate and earn you money. Keep them staying.
I want to express my outrage about the firing of Jorja Fox and George Eads. I truly hope CBS will reconsider their decision, as I won't be watching if she, Jorja Fox, is not part of the show. The backlash is already being felt, as I know several people who watch CSI, and assert Jorja Fox and George Eads are not replaceable. Local radio stations are covering the news, and they too, believe these actors to be irreplaceable. But for this viewer, and many others, the show will cease to be CSI without Fox and Eads. Here's hoping Moonves/CBS reconsiders, otherwise, I believe the show that brought them such success will be brought down by this unbelievably irresponsible decision.
The best intentions are always fraught with disappointment. Now I finally understand Grissom's words. Sara and Nick are a huge part of CSI, and I've been crying over the news they're not returning the new season. It just made today the worst day of my life.
CBS please reconsider. Tjis is one of the few wholesome, attention getting shows left on this earth. I can't wait until Thursday 7 CDT to watch the show each week....
I love CSI so much, and the team chemistry is irreplacable. Firing Jorja and George due to some contract dispute just show how CBS solve problems using ignorant and rudeness means. I support the two actrors, and I find the CSI franchise has now appeal to me anymore.
One of the main factors in the shows huge success is the chemistry between the characters (and the actors who play them). To get rid of two members of such an excellent ensemble cast, just over money, is madness

Sara is abig part of the show, she is the most important support of the grissoms caracter, and Nick is the cool parte of the show.

I'm still hoping this is just a big game of chicken that got out of control - and can still be resolved. If not, CSI ratings will likely dump - the original show and the franchises. Fans are loyal and do not take well to actors being treated unfairly.
Nick Stokes (George Eads) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) were two very pivotal characters on the show, and getting rid of them is the biggest mistake ever. I personally will not watch another episode of CSI and will hold off buying Season 3 on up until George and Jorja are re-hired. And might I add--what the hell is wrong with you?
I agree that the show will dwindle down with out Jorja and George. I don't believe it will carry the same appeal with new characters. Isn't that why they brought on Miami and New York any ways.
I could not believe when I heard. There goes two reasons for why I watch CSI. The show will nto be the same without them, and no one will ever be able to replace what they brought to the show. I am ashamed at the actions made by CBS.

One of biggest factors of CSI's success is the team chemistry. Not having Jorja and George on the team will certainly be detrimental change. If they should come to their senses and beg forgiveness, I hope CBS and Les have the good sense to give them a second chance. I don't think this was a good decision.

What is the fastest way CBS can destroy their most popular show? Answer: Break up the ensemble that makes the show so popular. Losing George and Jorja equals death to CSI. It's a crime that Grissom would have little problem solving. Bring back George and Jorja ASAP!
By firing two actors thsi abruptly and without sufficient reasons, CBS had shown how little appreciation it has for its own star drama. It also shown how little respect they had with their fans. Let Les Moonves know that he should not treat actors who've made the show amazing, and tell him that we will make sure he will never do such thing again.

I am shocked at CBS's actions. CSI will not be the same without Jorja Fox and George Eads and I will not be a CBS viewer knowing that they have such disregard for their audience.

CSI is an ensemble show. Its uniquness came from the distint characters each of the actors played. Without Jorja and George, the show will never be the same. The producers may be able to find replacements or write new characters, but the interactions between the cast that made CSI will never be there again.
