I feel it is a big mistake getting rid of Jorja and George. The whole success of CSI is the chemistry between everyone and with these two gone, its just not going to be the same. I won't be watching if they aren't reinstated.

I will stop watching CSI. I have my comic books, dvd collection, books and video game. I will keep that. I don't need the show any more. After those 2 actors was fired there's no need more me to watch it again. as a matter of fact I don't need to watch the CBS network any way.

CSI was just nominated for an Emmy for Best Drama...looks like that won't be happening next year 'coz the character changes and the missing links will only confuse ballot voters. And, what earned them that nomination ? Besides the storylines, etc - the cast of course. Stupid fools at CBS.

It doesn't make sense. Why mess with something that works SOOOOO well. These two(as are all the cast) are contrubuting to something that is surely greater than anyone could have expected, so it seems fair to me for them to expect something more in return. CSI won't be the same without them, and I won't be as eager to watch without them. Dumb move CBS, very dumb.....

Jorja and George are both fantastic actors and they're characters on the show, in my opinion, are the most interesting. CSI would suffer greatly if they were to leave. I don't belive that asking for a raise warrents them being fired. I hope CBS chance their minds. Or I for one will stop watching.

CBS is making a lot of $ on this show. They should have been re-negotiating contracts before now. The pay more $ to the lame sitcom Stars on less popular shows, and those actors do less.

I'm from the U.K. and I've only gotten into C.S.I. in the last few weeks. Since then I've lapped up season 1 and 2, part of the reason I love this show is the cast, and when I say the cast I mean the WHOLE cast, I can't believe you've done this. It is us the viewers who give you your profits this should in turn be reflected in the actors salary. Give Jorja Fox and George Eads what they want and give us what we want. You'll lose lots of fans otherwise.
Dumbest decision EVER. If Gary was the only one who showed up for filming, why are Marg & Billy not being fired, too? If Jorja & George are fired, then I want to see the other 2 go, too. If I don't see all 5 main members next season, I better only see Gary. Let's see how good the ratings are with CSI: Warrick.
I don't want to boycott CBS...but I will. What they've done is ridiculous and until Fox and Eads are back on CSI, this is one viewer for whom CBS no longer exists.
CSI is the best show ever and this is not only because of the great storylines, but also because of a fantastic cast who work great together. You can't fire any of them and especially not Jorja Fox and George Eads. They are my favourite. If CBS goes through with this the show won't be the same and the ratings will go down. If they really get fired I won't watch CSI anymore. CBS and Les Moonves are ruining the best show ever.
They are an integral part of the show -- if they were getting paid that much less than William or Marge, then I think they deserve a pay raise - they have proven their worth to the show over the past 4 years.
If CBS & Alliance don't resolve this, they'll show themselves to just be greedy, assinine people. This is not only a horrible business decision, but a horrible artistic decision. Not only do I want to BOYCOTT CSI without Jorja & George, it makes me want to BOYCOTT CBS'S Evening News, and all other CBS products. RE-HIRE THESE ACTORS AND GET ON WITH SHOW BUSINESS.
CBS has to reinstate George and Jorja. George Eads is one of my favourite CSI stars and if he is not in it next season I will not watch CSI anymore nor buy any of the DVD's when they are put on release in England.
I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay, and of course a CSI fan. I don't know if it's official and confirmed by CBS, or if it's a press move to keep watching the show and start the season with many more viewers who will be waiting until the last second to know if it is true or not. In any case I believe that CSi is a successful series and you shoudn't change a successful formula, Eads and Fox are part of it and maybe they are not the "stars" buy you'll feel the loose of them. CBS, Alliance Atlantis and Jerry Bruckheimer Productions are earning millions, so give them what they want, you'll still being as rich and powerful as you are, don't change a winning formula, CSI won't be the same, and if the idea of William Petersen of leaving CSI in 2 years is true, well, we all know what is the end, THE X FILES is an example.
I pledge to stop watching CSI as well as the Miami and NY counterparts until you bring Jorja and George back. I will also have to shut off CBS. For good.
You just shot yourself in the foot Les Moonves. You just fired two actors from the #1 show on television...you know...the show that pulled CBS out of the gutter. This show changed the image of CBS from the channel for geriatrics to a hot spot for the 18-49 demographic. I won't watch anymore without these two. Way to go, Les. Hope it was worth it.
Go to www.cbs.com, send them some feedback. Show them we will not accept this blatant disregard for a good show and this betrayal of its fans. I for one will not watch this show anymore if they don't bring Jorja and Goerge back!
It is so difficult to belive a network with a great reputation would made such absurd and unintelligent decision! Every supporting actors is important to the show, and I support Jorja and George, and the rest for the cast member, for their raise in salary.
Please please please re-hire Jorja & George, CBS. I think I speak for everyone who watches CSI when I say that the show just wouldn't be the same without the two of them. I love seeing the cases unfold in each episode, but more than that, I love to watch the relationships between the characters. No one could ever replace Jorja & George as Sara & Nick. Losing those two WILL cause your ratings to drop. There are so many people who won't watch the show if they don't return. And, one more thing, CBS... A lot of people view the characters of CSI as role models. The amount of Forensic Science majors has skyrocketted since the primire of CSI. The show has inspired people the world over, and losing ANY of "the team" would be detrimental.
I still can't believe this has happened... CSI is the highest rated drama, and now you're firing two of the main reasons... It's ridiculous. CSI needs George and Jorja back in order to stay #1.
I'm from the Dominican Republic and I'm a big fan of CSI. I can't believe this is happening. What is CBS thinking? They just can't fire 2 stars of the most successful show on television and expect us fans around the world to keep quiet. It's so unfair. We've all read that they want bigger salaries. But CBS can afford to pay them. They (CBS) make millions of money just from the show and if CBS can afford to pay a million dollars to Ray Romano ( sorry I don't want to offend any Ray Romano fans) and his show doesn't even compare to the CSI franchise, then why fire George and Jorja? How much could they have actually wanted? I imagine that they weren't asking for a million dollar per episode. I think that CBS, Atlantis Alliance, Les Moonves and anyone involved in their termination, have no idea the amount of damage they have done to this show, not to mention that they have infuriated millions of fans around the world. My family, friends and I are going to boycott CBS, we're also going to boycott CSI and their spin-offs, until this matter is solved ( both George and Jorja getting rehired). It will be very hard to do because we absolutely love the show. I hope that CSI fans around the world do the same, even though it will be very hard to do. I hope that both George Eads and Jorja Fox know that they have their loyal fans around the world who support them. I personally think that this decision is going to kill the show. We have learned a lot on the show, about forensic science, DNA testing, entomology, but we've also have grown attached to these characters. So I implore on you (CBS) to please reconsider your decision. It's a decision that will ultimately affect the show whether you like it or not.
I was shocked to hear the news of the firing of Jorja and George from CSI! I hope CBS realizes that the show is built not only on subject matter, but on the interpersonal realations of the characters. The actor(ess) chemistry is of major importance here as well. Sara is my favorite character in this show and all the current story arcs are now not going to come to fruition. This is the most ridiculous thing i have heard. By getting rid of 2 of the big characters the entire dynamic of the show will change and i will probably not be watching
CSI cast members are too close to recast them. Sara and Nick are both vital parts of the show, and Jorja and George are perfect for those characters. They have created a niche that no one can rewrite or replace. For actors to go on strike for a dispute is understandable, but they cannot just fire these two people! in the end it would make sense to pay them the money, because they will loose millions of viewers with George and Jorja gone. Also, with Sara's big finale at the end of season 4, they cannot just end it and forget about it for season 5.
Hey everyone! This is so stupid. I just heard a interview that George and Jorga were going to stay on CSI fo S5. Now that they started filming S5, I don't know wat is going on. I want Jorga and Gorge to stay. They are the best actors on the cast, besides eveyone else. So, I hope Jerry Brokhimer reads these and knows that we want Jorja and George to stay.

This is the best show on TV; it's great because it's an ENSEMBLE cast. These characters are irreplacable. I can't believe you'd give "Raymond" everything they want, then all of a sudden get tough on CSI. I will NOT WATCH the show if these 2 stars are not re-hired.
To me, this is THE END OF CSI, if Jorja and George do not return to the series. Even if they recast other characters, it will never be the same. All Jorja and George tried to do were to fight for what they deserve, and what a shame on Les Moonves to put them down in such a humiliating way!
