Grissom is the show. Sara is part of Grissom. You can't just make her disappear and expect no consequences in terms of audience. People WILL notice, you know.
Please reconsider the firing of Jorja Fox and George Eads. CSI is an *ensemble* drama - both of these actors and the characters they portray are integral to the show's success. I will not be watching CSI if Jorja and George are not on it.
Please don't fire Jorja and George. The show will never be the same without them, regardless of what you do!

The main reason i continue to watch the show is because the character developement. With all of the heavy content in the show, Jorja and Georges impact on the human side of it with be hard to replace. Shame on you CBS, i'll never watch again.

Seeing that you earn a lot of money thanks to the show, you can find a compromise, to satisfy George and Jorja.

Csi is an excellent show, one of the best. If you fire George and Jorja, it would seriously compromise it future.
You have to realize how George and Jorja are important, and how their characters are also important, and to let them leave or replace them by other actors is not the solution.
This will completely ruin the chemistry of the show. CSI Miami sucks, I won't be watching CSI New York...and now they've screwed over CSI. Thanks CBS, you're real winners.
CSI has become a must see on Thursday nights but without Jorja and George I will have to do without. the Show will not be the same without them. I have already got the word out and several friends have my same viewpoint.
I refuse to watch CSI now. I love JF and GE and can't imagine the CSI team without them. I cannot tolerate the idea of having to watch ES as Greg. What's up with his hair? No, give us back the original team that made us love this show. No other show has that energy that this one has.
What do you think you guys are doing? CSI Las Vegas is my favorite show, without it, Thursday nights are a bore to me. Please reconsider and re-hire those talented people. They derserve better, since their show spawned CSI Miami and now CSI New York!!

Mu entire apartment complex will quit watching the show. And we will even stop renting the previous seasons, so that CBS cannot profit. This is absolutely absurd. With all the garbage out there on the airwaves and the money spent on those ridiculos reality shows, your money would be better spent giving the actors/actresses pay raises especially on shows that have proven to be hits.
Chemistry between characters makes or breaks a show. CSI had a winning team. Who doesn't want to be one of them? Without Jorja and George, the team dies and so does the draw of the show. CBS lost a hell of a lot of viewers and their number one show. I'm not tuning in anymore. Not even to see that hunky Petersen. He and Fox's character, Sidle, shared the perfect onscreen chemistry. Ugh. Time to sign up for cable and give up network TV.
I can think of umpteen crappy reality shows that deserve this sort of fate. Do you not understand that most intelligent people want quality shows like CSI with quality characters around? This decision tells me that you apparently don't.
The show has been a hit because of all the cast and what they bring to it. They are the main reason we watch the show. They bring life to the characters and storylines. By firing Jorja and George CBS is losing the charisma that made CSI a hit. CBS will also loss its' ratings.

This is a really dumb move. The chemistry between actors is what makes THIS CSI program special. Fire the actors and the chemistry will break down. It's not there with CSI:Miami and I really have my doubts on CSI:New York.
CSI obviously makes more money than was thought 5 years ago when they signed. You should give them their raise. I am sure you are not charging advertisers the rates projected 5 years ago. Shame on you for killing off this show for money.

Well Im a die hard Cath/Gris shipper and although the firings will put paid to TPTB paring off Gris and Sara I am not convinced the sackings were a good idea. Both Sidle and Nick are popular chracters and Fox and Eads part of an great ensemble. They will be missed....However I will still watch the show so long as Gris and Cath stick around!!!;-)

CSI isn't just about the victim of the week. It's about relationships. Don't think that these characters are completely replaceable. If I didn't love the cast of CSI, I'd settle for watching one of its numerous clones.
As a longtime fan of CSI, I am severely disappointed that CBS has chosen to jeopardize its success in this manner. I hope someone will come to their senses and resign Jorja and George so I don't have to boycott CBS.
