Wow! This is silly! I just signed to see if I could get my comments on-line. Hey people! Get a life and worry about a real problem, like AIDs, the rapidly shrinking bill of rights and middle class, (insert others ad infinitum).
This show isn't like Law & Order, where the idea is more important than the cast. In CSI, it's the cast that makes this show. I enjoy seeing how everyone works together and learning about all the characters. Losing Jorja and George would be a major blow.
Without "Nick" and "Sara" the show will go downhill... you need the office witch and the "boy next door" to make the show work. Don't try to replace them or forget me ever watching the show again. BRING THEM BACK!
Over the past four years, many of your viewers have grown to care about the characters of this show just as much as the science. They tune in every week to hear more about the characters' lives and backstories, and it is that interest, that loyalty, that has carried this show and network to number one. What a way to thank them. You've lost me as a viewer.

I belong to a CSI mailing list, which is where I first heard the news. On that same last someone made the comment that CSI is so good because of the chemistry between the characters, ALL of them. I don't believe I've ever heard a more honest comment. A show is made by it's characters, and Sara and Nick are vital to the CSI lab just as they are to the show. I am extremely upset at their leaving, and am currently planning on finding another show to watch Thursday nights. Please try and work this out, CSI will never be the same if you don't.

This is the stupidest thing that any network could have done. I'll never watch CBS again, or any version of CSI. It won't be the same and i refuse to watch CSI if they aren't on it and the network are acting stupid and childish.

Rehire Jorja and George. They deserve more money due to how popular the show has become. Or treat everyone the same and fire Marg because she did the same exact thing they did. I honestly do not think I will watch the show without these two characters being a part of it.
I am very disapointed with the news of the firings, and I will no longer watch CSI without these two actors. This show is an ensemble and it will not be able to continue with the same quality and integrity without 2 of the 5 main characters.

Not a very smart move CBS. I am sure you can work things out. I would hate to see you wreck a great show and lose lots of fans over a move like this. I mean how dare they ask for more money. Keep your private jets on the ground for a few hours and I am sure you can come up with the money to make this alright. If not I am sure I can find something else to watch on another station.
I can't necessarily say that I will stop watching the show. But it won't be the same without these two. Obviously they are both staples of the show. They really shouldn't have been fired in the first place. It just sounds to me like CBS doesn't like to compromise. Bring them back on, anything else would be ridiculous.
CSI was a good show. To fire two of the actors who made it a good show is a bad idea. If you fire them, you should fire William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger as well, since they called in sick. If you believe that, I have a bridge in California you might be interested in purchasing!!
Firing Jorja and George is a stupid move by CBS... they are destroying the show instead of trying to compromise. I refuse to watch CBS ever again.It's really the only show that CBS had that was worth while.
It is a mistake to fire these two actors from the number one show on television. I seriously hope that all involved in this travisty feel a serious hole in their pocketbooks when the majority of the fans of the show stop watching

Such a tragic decision by a network of rich fatcats. They made so much money off of these actors, they decided to spawn two shows to only throw money on the fire. Get off your butts and give credit to whom it is due. The actors that put their lives on hold for the good of the show!
I was astonished to hear this news. Just because CBS was burned by the same salary negotiation tactics by the cast of Everyone Loves Raymond does call for this type of response. Not only will I no longer watch CSI due to this decision, but I won't watch the other two CSI programs. Jorja Rules!!!
OMG! this is sooo stupid of CBS, I think you guys better get on your knees and beg them back, you don't want to let these guys go or else not only CSI will slip, all your shows will. How could you do this!?

I am absolutely disgusted at this news! CSI has made CBS and its assorted Big Wigs millions of dollars, and has allowed them to launch two futher successful shows on it's back. The actors *deserve* to see a some of that profit too, they made CSI (and consequently the whole damn CSI franchise) what it is today, so if they want a damn pay rise, give it to them, they've earned it! I can assure you that you are going to be losing a lot more than just two cast members if you do not revoke this decision, you're going to be losing a hell of a lot of fans too, there is no way I will continue to watch this show if Jorja and George do not return!
George Eads is the reason I started watching CSI but now I love it. You cant just ruin the show people have come to know and love. Bring them back please. I want to express my opinion politely but Im afraid if I dont end this now, all I will type is obscenity after obscenity and that wont get us anywhere. But please, for your sake, CSI's sake and the fan's sake, get George and Jorja back. This is just outrageous and unbelievable.

This is ridiculous! I can't believe you would fire two of the shows most beloved actors. You have just lost a major demographic. CSI is going downhill fast.
CBS be prepared for a total boycott. Not only of CSI but other shows. The unity of fans is stronger than you think. The only way to save CSI and possibly your network(which we all know relies heavily on CSI) is to get George and Jorja back. Yes they had a contract but there is always room for negotiation.
I don't think I could watch CSI without George Eads. He played the best character on the show. Part of what made CSI so great was the group interactions between those SPECIFIC actors, and that will be gone if George and Jorja aren't on the show anymore.

CSI is not 'CSI' to me without these actors. I may as well be watching some other show that CBS (or channel 9 here in Australia) has nothing to do with. Jorja Fox is the main reason I watch this show, and with both Jorja and George missing from season five, count me out!!!
CBS please bring them back. There is an easy solution. You risk losing so much by gettign rid of these two than if you were to just give everyone a raise. Setting examples does not work. Please think about teh fans and think about how much this will upset them. You will lose so many viewers that CSI will drastically plummet in teh ratings and forget about PR...You might as well flush that down the toilet.
You people are screwed! CSI will not be the TOP show anymore, NOT WITHOUT JORJA AND GEORGE! I'm already pissed with a 3rd CSI, but I had always counted on CSI Las Vegas being as good as it is!!! And now, I'll have to find another replacement for my 9 o' clock spot on Thursdays. If you don't make CHANGES, good-bye CSI. I assure you, the show will be gone within the year.
When you have a brilliant ensemble cast on the number one rated show on television, it makes no sense to disrupt the chemistry. You're shooting yourself in the foot, CBS. You've just lost many, many viewers in the key 18-35 year old demographic. Great job!

Frankly, I can't understand what CBS is thinking. This is the BEST show on television. Firing these two will definitely have a negative impact on that as they are very good characters.
No one in my family will ever watch a CBS show again if you don't hire these two back. This was a coldhearted way of treating two professionals who brought four years worth of enjoyment to millions of fans. You cannot replace the chemistry or uniqueness they provided.
