I'm a big fan of CSI and of JF and GE. I will no longer watch CSI nor any of its spin offs due to the firing of these two actors that have helped make the show what it is. Without JF and GE there is no CSI or CBS.
I will not be watching CSI next season. Its bad enough that the CSI brand has become tarnished with the terrible Miami spinoff, but now firing part of one of the best ensemble casts on TV? Thats one more hour ill have free next television season.
I was completely stunned by the announcement. I hope that CBS knows how many viewers that they are pissing off with this decision. I personally watch the show for the chemistry between the cast members especially the flirting between George and Jorja's characters and the tention between Jorja and William's characters. I don't think that I will be watching CSI for the fifth season unless George and Jorja are brought back.
CSI is one of the top hit shows on TELEVISION, yet CBS sacks two of the cast members. People take time out of their lives to watch CSI every Thursday and help CBS boost their damn ratings, and in return get this insane idiotic news brought to them? Less than two days of the news and already almost 2000 people signed this petition. CSI will be done for good if Jorja and George arent rehired.
I can't believe that' they got fired what they don't realize is that' Jorja Fox and George Eads are a huge part of the show and if they don't bring them back that the show's rating's will go down i so totally support george and jorja
What is wrong with you? Jorja and George are such important parts of CSI. You underestimate the consequences of firing them, and believe me, you won't like 'em. I won't watch S5 or any CSI spinoff, and also talk my friends into not watching it anymore
Im not a huge fan of CSI. But i watch it once in a while. Its actually an amazing show. HOw they find out who did what and how is crazy! And the characters were good. You shouldnt of fired nick and sara, that was a bad moooove. stupid cbs. All you *******s care about is your money. Now there out a job you idiots. Now your show sucks to haha.
I,too think you are rally overreacting. All actors on hit shows do this for raises. I hope you will re-think this & re-hire or I don't think the show will work without them and I will stop watching!
this is ridiculous.... it's an ensemlbe show -- jorja and george (and all of the rest of the team of CSFB) are why i love CSI! give them a modest pay hike like the EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND people and let's move on. ridiculousness.
My heart hurts a lot now that Jorja and George are fired. I love csi and it's like an obsession for me.I have to watch like a couple of episodes of csi each day. Now that Sara and Nick are leaving or beeing replaced by other actors, i have no idea how to get over it..i feel sick :( that maybe sounds pathetic but i feel depressed .CBS don't do this to us!!!
Jorja and George are vital to this show. Without them, it wouldn't work. And Jorja is my favorite. CBS needs to get their heads out of their ass and check themselves! THEY NEED JORJA AND GEORGE!
CSI won't be the same without George and Jorja. They have a real chemistry on the show and it won't be the same without them, regardless of who their "replacements" are. They were part of a great team, and without them, I shall not be watching season 5 or any further seasons.

Big mistake thinking the show is just special effects/case story driven. Lots of fans watch because of the characters, it's what made CSI stand out against the rest.
Crime shows are a dime a dozen on TV - what makes CSI special are the characters - ALL of them - and specifically the ACTORS that play them. You can't replace Jorja and George without ruining CSI.
Jorjia and George are playing a lead role in the CSI story.
Fired them and finding substitutes wont be a good choice.

I can't believe this.. I was heartbroken when I read the news earlier today. The show will not be the same without Nick and Sara and I guarantee that the ratings will go down!!
You know, after that rather lackluster Season Four, my future viewership of CSI was on tenuous ground to begin with. You are continuously misunderstanding and misusing your show's greatest strengths and weaknesses. This is a prime example. The characters of Sara and Nick were two of your strengths. This decision was penny wise and pound foolish, I hope you come to regret it deeply some day. In any case, thanks for making my decision easy for me, CBS. I will never be watching CSI again.
I believe that CBS could have handled this better. I have watched the show since the start and I can honestly say that I will no longer watch the show if the firing of Mr. Eads and Ms. Fox remains as it is.
I feel absolutely sick.How can you take away 2 of the characters from the show without ruining the whole feel of the show. The reason this show is so successful is the charisma of the actors (all of them) this is why I watch this show and not miami.Please reconsider what you have done, look what happend to x-files when David Duchnovy left!! I for one will not watch CSI with out these 2. I will not buy anymore merchandise, and all what I have now which goe's into quite a few hundred pounds will be put on ebay next week.I do not want to watch the show without them.
I just think it's ridiculous that CBS won't even think about a negotiation with cast members of their number one show. They brought you back to the top, CBS, and now you throw them out. How greedy and disrespectful.

Both Jorja and George are wonderful actors who've not only flourished on CSI, but have become part of a comfortable-yes I'll say it-comfortable family with the rest of the cast of CSI. And don't even try and think that people will continue to watch CSI without these two, because it won't happen! To be totally and bluntly honest with you too, if I haven't been already, I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED THAT YOU WOULD EVEN CONSIDER GOING ON WITHOUT GEORGE AND JORJA; BECAUSE LET ME TELL YOU FOR THE LAST AND FINAL TIME, IT WILL NOT WORK!
When they might first cast this show, they might have thought of Sarah and Nick as supporting characters, but over time they've become more than just supporting characters, they've become part of the main characters, characters that we tune in to watch.
I canīt believe this! It wonīt be CSI without George Eads and Jorja Fox. I donīt watch CSI Miami, because the cast of that show has no connection, no chemistry. The original CSI does. If you let them go, youīll be making the biggest mistake possible. The people who watch this show have emotional ties to the characters, you canīt just ignore that.
Well, after a few moments of yelling and swearing, I, too, have calmed down and am now able to make my threats. I WILL refuse to watch the show, not buy anymore products, and will only watch Greg Sanders scenes, yes, that's right. I can't believe how far this has gone where 2 key characters are being cut. Thanks CBS and crew, your ratings WILL fall, and I won't feel bad.
George and Jorja are excellent actors, and I won't watch the show without them.The ensemble cast has been broken up, and the real science of CSI, on-screen chemistry, will be broken.
The show will not be the same without these characters. It is not right to fire two of the stars of your biggest show along with the biggest show on tv over something that seems could have been resolved.

The only reason I watch CSI is for Jorja Fox and William Petersen. Without Jorja it seems pointless as the Grissom/Sara relationship was the only pull for me.
You know who else we have to protest to besides CBS, Bruckheimer and the likes...THE SPONSORS..the advertisers the people that give CBS and all the dough! For example Proctor and Gamble. Start emailing and bombarding P&G with emails....the networks pay big attention to the sponsors and ad dollars... ESPECIALLY P&G..that's their lifeline...without them they (networks) are nothing! EMAIL P&G to start! Let's rock!
My whole family watches CSI and other CBS programming but now that you have gotten rid of George and Jorja I believe we will reconsider our afvorite station and programming. Do you know how many George/Jorja/Nick/Sara/Sn icker(sara/nick shipper) fan groups there are out there. Over hundreds and some thousands of members in each from all over the world. Prepare to lose a drastic amount of viewers because of this sad mistake that can so easily be fixed.
Well, CBS, you've just shot yourself in the foot. There is no other show on any network that can compare to the original CSI, and you've just given it a death sentence. Jorja Fox and George Eads are on the number one rated show on TV, part of an ensemble cast that works absolute magic together, and you toss them out like this morning's trash, without even considering their requests. CBS has lost another view.
