CBS, DON'T YOU DARE COME UP WITH SOME CRAP LIKE 'OH NICK GOT HIS PROMOTION, JUST IN ANOTHER CITY' AND 'OH SARA GOT FIRED FOR HER DUI', It's just not cool yeah?! Bring them back, much ad you don't want to believe, this show works BECAUSE of its cast, that's why we all like it, and that is also why we all hate CSIMiami!!
I am in outrage. Honestly. You can't fire two of the MAIN AWESOME CHARACTERS OF A TOP SHOW!!! ANd you can't fire the actrss who plays Sara after the season ends with Grissom finally ACTING on his feelings. And you can't fire Nick when he's trying to find out about a promotion opening. IT'S NOT COOL. It is my all time favorite show, and as loathe as I am to do it, I WILL boycott ALL 3 CSI shows unless Fox and Eads are brought back.
The cast is what makes the original CSI the best; it won't work without two of them. For the first time I actually liked every single one of the characters (and cast) in a television show. The mix of unique character interaction and science was original and was what kept me watching. You get rid of Jorja Fox, forget it, I won't be watching anymore. You're cutting out half of your winning formula. I won't buy any DVDs that they're not in, nor any other type of merchandise, and you can forget about the spin-offs because they lack the very interaction that makes the original so special. I have been a loyal viewer since the very first episode - Sara is and always will be my favourite character, and the chemistry between her and Grissom (William Petersen) is irreplaceable. Their relationship still holds so much potential - please don't throw it all away. So they want more money? From what I know of Jorja it's not as if she's going to keep it for herself; look at how much time and energy she invests in charity work. Ok, so we, the fans, don't know the specific details of what led to you firing them, but whatever it was don't punish two invaluable actors and all of your/their fans for it. No one could possibly play Sara and Nick but Jorja Fox and George Eads, and you cannot possibly come up with a convincing storyline to explain their absences. Bring them back; please don't ruin such a great show. If Jorja goes, I go, and you've just lost yourselves a British follower.
No Jorja or George= no CBS shows being watched EVER in my house!!! George and Jorja are the big part of the show without them you will have nothing. Pay them a little more they r the number 1 show in the country give them what they want. Bring them back for the fans cause if this goes down like it has you will have no fans left!!
I'm disgusted that CBS and Bruckheimer, who are making millions off CSI, would so stupidly try to ruin their money machine. Please don't make us boycott CBS - bring back Jorja and George!!!

Cbs, i am from Brazil and a CSI supporter. I can't believe that this is happening. You can't take a recipe of succes. Listen to us, don't take a risk to make people change the channel. Jerry Bruckheimer, listen to us also, you are a genius of drama series, don't let this happen.
We believe George Eads and Jorja Fox can be on the show untill the serie go off.
If CSI was really about the evidence not the characters then we wouldn't have had all those little things about their lives - Grissom's hearing problem, Catherine's ex dying etc. and neither would the show have built up such a following - it's pretty hard to write fanfiction about evidence!
Not only is Jorja the woman in the two biggest 'ships' of CSI - Grissom/Sara and Nick/Sara, but she is also one of the best characters, being able to have such a rapport with the three male leads (four if you count Greg) that all Sara/? relationships work.
As for Nick - if the point of the show was to focus on the evidence, then why have the characters grown up so much over the past seasons? Nick is the prime example - as Lynn says, he has gone from an immature little boy to a mature grown man.
One of the reasons why the show works (or worked) so well is because the six lead characters (Grissom, Catherine, Warrick, Nick, Sara and Greg) are all different and they all complement each other excellently. If CBS wants to bring in a new character, so be it, but don't just throw away the old characters! Even a move to one of the other CSIs would be better than nothing!
The reason why CSI was so successful isn't just because of the science. There's also the chemistry between all the characters. Having George Eads and Jorja Fox removed from the equation will result in a collapse of the show.
Bring them back! The show cannot survive otherwise.
I don't understand why they didn't just negotiate...it's a conspiracy! lol...but it's strange considering other actors have wanted more and reached a negiation. Now for the #1 show they can't? IT's either CBS, bruckheimer or the producers...something is up with them otherwise this wouldn't even have made the news!
They are irreplacable. They've helped the show become what it is now. How can you not have Nick and Sara in the team. it's like having mud cake with no ice cream. It doesn't work. They HAVE to be in the show. There is no show without them

There are many reasons for CSIs amazing success. A major factor is the cast and if you cut two characters who are vital to the cast and the fans then trouble will follow. I cannot see how this show can survive without Nick and Sara, especially when these two characters are favorites among many fans. I'm just outraged that CBS can fire my favorite star Jorja Fox and also George Eads who is great also. I know that a lot of people will stop watching this show without them in it.
All I have heard about the firing is that CSI is not about the characters but the evidence. I don't know what show everyone else is watching but I watch because I love the characters. One of the reasons I do not watch CSI Miami is because the cast does not have the chemistry that the original show does. Nick Stokes went from a young impatient CSI to a mature, level headed thinker. Oh, maybe that's it. Mature. I forgot. The networks like to gear to the 19-49 group. It would not surprise me that CBS will bring in some real blond "candy" to replace Jorja, because we all know that good acting is not as important as the size of your "assets". Just when I thought we finally had a show that was truly all about good acting. See yeah later CSI!
Jorja Fox is irreplacable. The chemistry she has with Billy Petersen is amazing and she manages to show more emotion with a look then most shows do in an hour. This show will not survive without her.
CBS had better have a darn good explanation in the next season if this firing is in fact true...CSI will no longer be an 'ensemble cast' show. Jorja and George's characters contribute a lot to the dynamics of the show; if they're gone I'm not sure I'll continue watching :(
Let me get this straight. Marg calls out sick on her first day at work and she is not fired, but George Eads is? I think the brass at CBS should have someone check the internet for fan sites. George has triple the amount of fan sites as Marg. No offense to Marg, whom I like, but George is a more popular person with the fans, and it is us fans, in the end, who will make our voices heard. The next sound you will hear from me is the sound of my remote clicking off on Thurs, 9pm channel 2.
Whatever happened to contract negotiations in Hollywood? What idiot actually made this decision? Talk about BIG mistake! This is an ansemble cast. Both George and Jorja are just as important as the "lead Actor and Actress". Replacing two of the orginial characters will cause this show to loose its number one position and set CSI NY up for failure before it even airs. The fan base that your are alienating is huge. Do you really want to loose all of our revenue CBS. I think not. Bring back George and Jorja NOW!
Bad idea. You have a strong cast already, and to take out two members at the same time and replace them with people the viewers do not know will simply derail the series. They should be allowed to stay.
Your show's ratings will drop big time if you do not rethink this unjust decision. No other show (as far as I know) has ever fired anyone for asking for more money. They've been on the show for what five seasons now? They deserve a little raise and a little more recognition/appreciation. Rethink this decision or you're going to lose a lot of viewers, including this one!
I'm an Italian fan of CSI and I know that, as me, Italians love Nick and Sara characters and so we will be upset without them. I don't watch this show again.

I find this new news from CBS disturbing. Suddenly causing two of the CSI team's characters to dissappear, while doubtlessly sparking many debates over whether they ran off and got married, would undermine the intent of the show. Viewers would be so shocked and confused by the sudden dissappearance, they would lose sight of the cases, the show's primary focus. The loss of Jorja is esspecially untimely, due to the storyline, involving her, which consumed the last few shows of last season. No realistic storyline could explain her absence. Grissom has shown that he will not fire his team members, no matter what wrongs they've committed. Sara is not the type of character to run away from her problems (case in point, Playing with Fire). Please reconsider your desision to fire the actors who have made CSI real to so many people.

It's the WHOLE cast and crew that makes CSI so good to watch - firing Jorja and George ruins the effect of the show. Kindly bring them back, even if it means you have to give them a larger sum of money.

You can't let any of them go -they make the show....I've heard rumors that there are problems regarding the CSI Miami but the first CSI is the best with the BEST CAST-You can not do this-you will ruin the show
My first intial reaction to learning this news was: "No George/Nick, no me." Meaning if George leaves the show, I don't want to watch anymore. Nick is one of the most interesting characters on the show, followed closely by Greg. Unfortunately last season there wasn't enough Greg scenes. I'd be watching half the show before I'd ever see him and then when he'd come on he'd be there for like a two minute scene and then he'd disappear again. If George isn't on the show and Eric isn't featured more than he was this past season, I'm done with this show. And personally, I don't care two beans about Miami and if this situation doesn't change, I probably won't be watching NY either! George is Nick. No one else can be Nick. I know a lot of people want Sara/Jorja to stay on too, but where the Sara character is concerned, I could take her or leave her. At least there's an out for that character at the end of this past season with her being caught driving while having too much alcohol in her system. But, I definitely would prefer George/Nick stay on the show. I was looking forward to seeing Nick and Greg working a crime scene together. They have that whole big/little brother vibe going on LOL. Please rethink this! I'm begging you. Unless you want the show's ratings to go way way down.
