If I read another article that says the show is not about the characters, but about the evidence, I will scream. Maybe I watch a different show, but for me the chemistry between the actors is the single most important factor for watching. CBS will never get it, will they. Bring George back. Bring Jorja back. Firing these two was way too harsh and impulsive. Work out a deal.

I am 11 years old and CSI is my favorite show ever! If you can make a big impact on a 11 year-old with the show, you can make a big impact with firing two of the cast. This is injustice! CSI won't be the same without Nick and Sarah! SAVE CSI!

CSI is my absolute favourite show and George and Jorja are my favourite two actors on the show. If they leave I will no longer watch CSI as the idea of them not being there is a sure fire way of losing viewers.

This is horrible. As far as I'm concerned, Jorja was the best actress on the show. Firing her was a horrible move. She was the main reason I became interested in the show in the first place. If she and George go, many viewers are going to stop watching. Bring them back!

Don't do This, I beg of you! You've had one of the Best ensembles every featured on televison, please don't ruin it now. Quite honestly, I only watch CSI for Jorja and Marg,those talented woman just blow me away week after week. Losing either will force me to leave the only good thing still left on the tv landscape, don't allow me to make That decison simply over a freaking money matter!!!

I am very saddened by this sudden and irrational action taken by CBS. I have already been dissapointed with the unfair screentime given to the character, Catherine Willows above all the other characters in the show. Will firing of Jorja Fox and George Eads mean that there will be another increase of more screentime for Catherine? Considering that I have only watched the last two seasons of CSI despite the lack of episodes with storylines of the other characters, I'm not sure if I would be continuing to watch the series any longer due to the fact that this show would not be as rounded and exciting as it was in the first season when it first got me hooked.
The show will not be the same without them and recasting them is so wrong if thats what you decide to do, noone could replace them. Please reconsider!!!!!!!
What a complete waste of talent. Surely some concensions could have been made simply for the sake of tying up plot threads. What about Sara's alcohol problem? What about Sara and Gil. Damn it, CBS has teased us for seasons and now is backing off. I'm terribly disappointed, enough that I may stop watching the entire franchise.

Big mistake CBS. Why haven't you fired the rest of them too. Why are you prolonging the inevitable. If you fire them, the shows ratings will drop and so will CBS' ratings. I always thought I would be happy seeing the Sara Sidle character gone but it just doesn't feel right. They need to work it all out and keep our small little CSI family together. It really won't be the same.
I was SO excited for Season 5 to start. And then I read about them being fired. I have basiclly been crying since I heard. This is not fair. Forget about winning your Emmy's, CSI, Jorja and George could have made that possible. Now my favorite show ever is crumbling. Well I have to give the George Eads fans credit. It was posted on his fan site months ago that the producers were going to let him go. You could see the demise of the character Nick Stokes right in front of your eyes. Too bad. I have seen George on countless interviews and have read many articles on him. He seems like a really nice guy, unlike other male cast members (who shall be nameless) who can sometimes be rude, crude and obnoxious. Like they say, it doesn't pay to be good. I have faith that George Eads will do just fine. As for CSI that's another story.

I have been a loyal CSI fan since the first season , and a huge part of the show is the show is the cast! Over the years the charactors have grown and we have grown to love them! It's just like building a wall if you take away some of the wall it's not whole and in time it will fall down! The charactors are what make up the show and is what we come back every Thursday to see, PLEASE rethink what you guys are doing, listen to what everybody is telling you! If you take away 2 parts of our show we will take away your ratings! I for one am a fan of william petersen (Gil Grissom ) and the chemistry between gil and sara isn't just something you can throw away! Until you bring back Jorja and George you have just lost my point on your rating scale and all my friends who watch the show! Don't do this bring them back!! I support George and Jorja!

If you fail to hire Jorja and George back, you leave me no choice but to boycott not only CSI but all your shows. CSI is THE number one hit drama on television, which leads us to conclude that it [and it's franchises] made a great deal of money. But we're supposed to believe that these actors are asking for such an unreasonable salary increase that they would break the bank? Please. You'll lose more money by firing these [very] well liked character actors than you would have by allowing an increase in their wages.
I feel that the show will suffer greatly with the loss of two of the original characters. In the past, shows that have suddenly done away with main characters have suffered greatly in ratings and have sadly, dissappeared.
