One thing that I tell people is that CSI has a great chemistry between the characters. Losing two of them (especially at one time) will make that chemistry not as strong!!!! This has been a major punch to the gut!!!
We watch CSI because we love the characters and their stories. If you lose the characters we;'ve come to enjoy, you'll loze the audience as well. CSI for me is far more than William Peterson and Merg Helgenberger - it is Gary Dourdan *yum*, George Eads and Jorja Fox EVERY bit as much!
Why fire them now?! There's only one more episode anyway. There's really no point in it...bad CBS bad. Are you expecting to just leave them out? I mean the only reason half my school watches it is bcuz they think either Nick or Sara are hot. Plus I heard they were planning on Sara and Grissom having a little something something for each other...like wtf?

I was a huge ER fan but when they showed previews for CSI my mom said "I think you would like this one show" and so I watched it and was totally and completely attached to Sara's character. I love JF and GE, while I'm a huge WP, and MH fan the show I watch, the #1 DRAMA on TV will go down the drain. See, Les you and all of us fans are like OIL AND WATER...right now we don't mix and don't think we ever will because *I think I speak for all of CSIs fans when I say* we will never ever like you...EVER! A lot of us can't stop crying. It's almost like we've attended the funeral for CSI. I was so excited about S:4 coming out of DVD. I'm going to save my money now because well I won't be able to watch another season on DVD w/o balling. I could say alot of things but, I've decided to stop here before I say something I might regret...then again what could I regret saying to A$$h0!&s like you?! TELL ME?! WHAT? You made a big mistake and will regret this for the rest of your life.

I just can't see that CSI will be at all appealing to me with my two favorite characters gone. Unfortunately, I think the loss of Ms. Fox and Mr. Eads will be looked back upon as the moment CSI "jumped the shark."

You have the number one watched show on TV sitting in the palm of your hands and you are squeezzing the life out of it. I don't see how you can justify giving money to actors of that show and not CSI. Everybody Loves Raymond was a low rating show and you paid out to them...
I don't get you guys at all. How about this Les Moonves, you and the other heads at CBS give up about 600,000.00 of what you make and give it to the Cast of your NUMBER ONE RATED SHOW.
I am saddened by your decision to fire Jorja and George. Jorja, to me, and to many others, represents the heart of CSI. Both actors have been with the show since the beginning, and their absence will certainly affect ratings this coming year. I hope that you reconsider.
If CBS thinks it's "going to send a message" I think they'll discover they're the only ones hearing it. Three's Company wasn't the same after Suzanne Sommers was fired, and the show didn't last long. Dukes of Hazard (a CBS show) wasn't the same after John Schneider and Tom Wopat were fired, and the fans demanded they were brought back, a move someone at CBS finally saw the light and did. The fans won't just accept some bean counting network executive's "recasting" and I think this petition shows that the fans - the people who watch the show and make it the number one drama - aren't going to take this one lying down. Bad form, CBS. Extremely bad form.
Please, come to your senses and reach a compromise with Mr. Eads and Ms. Fox! They have been an important part of helping CSI reach its #1 status, and they deserve a raise.

Not only have you ruined your number 1 show - but you have made the hours i spent enjoying it mean nothing. Characters become a part of people's lives and you can't just rip them out and interchange them to suit a whim (or to save MONEY!).
This is a bad idea...it will change what doesn't need to be changed. Why fix something that isn't broken? It will screw up storylines and it's just bad timing too. It will impact the show, just you see.
I was in such shock... now it's just turned into anger. I can not believe they got fired, All I can say is I probably wont watch the show anymore if George isn't there. Isn't CSI one of the top grossing shows? why couldn't they get paid more? They deserve it! The show just wouldn't/wont be the same without either of them!!
I was really disappointed to here that George and Jorja had been fired. They have been a part of the show since it started. George is an excellent actor and Nick has so much potential that it is a dreadful shame to lose them

I've become a fanatical fan of CSI. I am unsure why they were fired, but I think it's a mistake. I have never been interested in purchasing DVD's, but we just purchased a box set for CSI Miami and intend to buy all for CSI Las Vegas and eventually CSI New York. I think CBS is ruining a good thing by changing cast members.
approx. 29 million viewers a week Making it the number one rated show and you idiots can't pay them more then $100,000.00 per episode. Can CSI MIAMI and split their pay with the cast of CSI! I love george's personality on the show, and csi wouldn't be sci without him. jorja i don't quite like but she adds the needed *****y-ness and love attraction to grisham that the show needs. please keep them!

CSI is an awesome show not just because of the content, but mostly because of the cast. I noticed when one of them is missing from an episode, its just not as good as when the entire cast is assembled. I hope the show has enough sense to hire them back because they are young, they are big ratings clenchers for the younger fans as well as a big chunk of the other fans. So they better wise up or lose their #1 status.
There is no show withou the whole cast. They do not deserve to be treated the way that they have. They have brought so much to the showm this is unfair to them, and their fans.
Both Jorja and George play characters which are irreplaceable. The show without them would lose much of the appeal--their interactions, with each other and with their costars, provides humor, interesting storylines, and really helps to portray the unit as one big family. A portrayal which, up to this point, was successful. You get rid of Eads and Fox and you take away an elemental characteristic of the show. Without these two, the show loses something, just as it would lose something if any of the others were to be let go as well. To be completely honest, CSI loses its appeal (for me personally) without the interactions between Sidle and Grissom, between Stokes and Brown. Lose those characters and lose my support. And really, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one you'll lose. Let's see how long CSI can pull in the ratings it's accustomed to without these two characters. I think you'll be surprised.
I watch this show each week and on each Friday when I get my ETweekly I look for CSI on the top of the ratings page, and them laugh at how low the number 2 shows ratings are comparied to CSI. This show is what's making CBS the most watched network and you Idiots are willing to tear the cast up over a little money come on now pay them the money. Give us our show back
They've been with the show since the beginning, they deserve more than what they're getting. Both George and Jorja can not be replaced. CBS just lost another CSI viewer next season.
This show will simply lose all appeal if the core cast is dismantled like this. This show is a winner, and CBS needs to support their best. These two actors bring it strong every week, and they deserve to be justly compensated for their immense talent. I guess all this means I'll just have an extra hour of free time each week now. :(
I cannot believe you CBS!! Jorja and George were my SOLE reason for watching this show!! Please PLEASE don't fire them, they're (IMO) what makes this show what it is. Don't you make such a stupid decision. We fans love them! I'm going to quit watching the show if you don't bring them back!

Without these actors the show will never be the same. I can't see how the ratings will ever be what they were before. Viewers will be lost, including myself. It just makes me think of the end of "The X-Files". Sad news to hear.
Jorja and George are my two favourite actors on this show. They are vitally important to CSI's success and to let them go like this is an unfortunate move. I don't think I can support a show that doesn't support its cast.
Craziest move yet by CBS as a follower of CSI-Vegas, i cannot imagine watching Vegas w/o those two, it's like it loses it's essence cause-Griss/Sara/Nick/Gre g/Warrick and Catherine have the best chemistry by far of any of the CSI shows and it's a real real BIG mistake that this has happened and i wish somehow CBS can get them back, i can't imagine Grissom w/o Sara or Warrick w/o Nick to bug:) They are all wonderful together, how the heck can this happen...you know why Miami doesn't get the views that Vegas does, cause of the fact it's more copshop stuff with a tad of scientific stuff thrown in when the scientific stuff is a HUGE part of Vegas, i've learned so much from watching it and thinks i think about when going thru daily life, and who in the blue hell would get rid of any of them from Vegas, esp 2 who have such a huge fan base, blasphamy.....I can't see anyone else with Grissom/Catherine & Greggo, wise up!!
I agree with every word written in ever signature. This is a horrible decision by CBS. Myself, along with many other dedicated CSI fans, will stop watching CSI and even all CBS shows. This blunder by CBS will cost them dearly.
I just started watching the show a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked... and now I freaking out because 2 of my 3 favorite actors on the show have apparently been fired and such pathetic reasons. This sucks!

Very ridiculous move CBS. Axing two actors who have contributed their all to a #1 show without negotiating with them first. Every actor wants more money, firing two for it won't help the show.
If they aren't on the show anymore, I am going to be looking at a different station.I only watch CSI Las Vegas as the other one let a favorite actress of mine go and stuck in a stupid ooze dripping filly who has no credibility and never will. I really feel sorry that in this day and age it is so wrong to ask for a raise for a job that is very well done.
What makes CSI special is perfect mix of people doing a great job! This show would never have been as riveting without Jorja and George playing Sara and Nick. They made such a huge mistake! Whoever fired them needs a brain transplant!

You can't reproduce that kind of chemistry-- it is what makes CSI Las Vegas captivating. I will feel misplaced and despondent without Jorja and George.

George & Jorja created two of the characters that contributed to making the show what it is today and the reason it collects so much money for the commercials. CBS wouldn't be raking in the dough without the contributions of these two talented people.
When I first saw this show advertised, it was the fact that I saw George Eads would be in the cast that I started watching the program.
Also, the relationship brewing between Fox's and Petersen's characters was just getting good.
CBS is getting very greeding with the success they have had lately, but need to realize their shows are only as good as the characters the actors create.
If CBS doesn't keep them on, I hope Eads and Fox go on to become big movie stars, or better yet, get their own shows on another network and take over the #1 spot from CBS. It would serve CBS right.

I just have to ask, what on earth was CBS thinking? Why would you fire two of the best actors on the show. If you fire them, I will burn my CSI dvds, and everything else CSI and STOP watching it. The ratings for CSI without out them will not only be in the toliet, but all the way in the sewer!! ANd, its not like CBS cant afford to pay them more, the show makes more money i would ever see in a lifetime. CSI would never be the same, Sara and Nick are very colorful characters. They MAKE the network money, so giving them a pay raise is NOT impossible. This was a very bad desicion. If CBS wants to lose all its viewers, fire them. Do not expect to get anyone to WATCH THE SHOW without Sara nd Nick. And, with all the mad people, bring them back or CBS productios could have some very bad problems from some very angry fans!
