Jorja and George have way more fans than Marg so why cut her slack and fire them? Dón't get it and if CBS doesn't change their mind I'm never watching the show again. No George Eads= No Nick Stokes= No CSI
CBS please reconsider what you have done, and the potential damage hiring replacements would be to the series. CSI will not be CSI withough George Eads and Jorja Fox.

The characters belongs to their faces...without them there will be no more CSI
So the actors asked for more money...Big Deal. The producers have prostituted CSI with 'Miami' an now 'NY', showing their own greed. Bring these two fine actors BACK! They round out the ensemble of the show.
Both of these actors give the show a strong personality that will be sorely missed. I also understand both actors actually did show up (late in George's case, there but not having signed the letter of intent in Jorja's case), so how about a second chance for two of the show's most appealing performers?
I love CSI and I think the show will suffer with the loss of these two characters. It's been the strength of the characters that makes the original CSI the best. Please reconsider your decision!!
I can't believe it!My favorite show and probably the only show I would stay up all night for! I live in Croatia and quality programs are thankfully not so rare around here but CSI was/is definatelly unique. It showed not just the drama but it drew me to the beauty of science and the charisma of its main characters.Whose bright idea was to do this? The show was doing great-it progressed so much and the characters have grown with each episode from complete mysteries to full blown personas. Although I love all of them my personal favorites are Grissom and Sara.No other actor and actress can replace the work that George and Jorja have put into this show. They want more money? So what?! They certainly deserve it. This show wouldn't be what it is today without their personal imput. I say--give them what they want and get them back! If the show continues without them you'll be losing a the biggest fan from Eastern Europe! If you do this I AM NOT WATCHING ANYMORE!

I begin to believe the're nuts by CBS how can the fire 2 of the most popular castmembers of CSI they probably never surfed the internet They can't be serious about this but they can make it right by rehiring the both of them One of the reaons why my Ladyfriends watch the show is of the chemistry between Griss and S, No way there is chemistry between WP & MH

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont get rid of Jorja and George. Their characters Sara and Nick are integral parts of the show, and after last series ended I was kind of hoping for some kind of change in the Grissom/Sara relationship. Plus Nick just got promoted! You can't get rid of them now! With the dynamic of the show changing so much already this coming series, with Greg getting into the field & a new character appearing in the role of the new lab tech, these two main characters cannot be lost. Please don't get rid of them!
I love the show and would like to think that it could survive. I just don't think that Grissom and Catherine could carry the show. People have already established a relationship with these characters. Please consider wisely.
We understand that the network/show producers might expect someone to honor their contract. However, we feel that signing for a full seven years when you are happy to just "get the job" is unreasonable. This show has not only been a ratings bonanza for CBS but has spawned another hit series and possibly a third to come next month. If reasonable discussion does not occur (firing at the onset seems quite drastic) then perhaps we will show our support by discontinuing our viewing of all CSI products. We respect your decision if they are trying to rob you blind...otherwise......ta lk it out and get them to continue with the show. We believe it will be in their best interests as well as those of CSI and the producers, etc. Thank you for taking the time to read this
With the season ender, it left it open to Grissom and Sara getting together (which I hoped for). The absence of both characters will leave a huge void in the cast that could not be easily mended. We have come to love these characters and I don't want to get to know some new ones.
CSI is not just about forensics, it is about people. The characters of Sara and Nick are an integral and much loved part of CSI. Their absence from the show will no doubt commence its downfall.

This makes no sense. How does CBS expect people to still watch this show after they axed these two popular characters. I, for one, will not watch this show next season without Nick and Sara, because it just won't be CSI anymore.
I live in Germany and heard the rumours about GE and being fired this morning. I hope it isn't true what is being said. Without those two actors the show wouldn't have the same quality as before and you will lose countless viewers in the USA and here.

Firing two of the main characters on this show is the worst thing you could do. It's like firing one of the six 'Friends' and wanting to continue. The show is great, but what made it great was the believability of its actors and the charisma of its cast. We have come to know Sara and Nick as part of the story. If you get rid of them, you will lose my faith in the show's caring about its viewers feelings and lose me as a viewer.
Come on CBS, wake up and smell the coffee!! Jorja and George need a second chance. Give them what they want, and make your viewers happy at the same time!
I think it's a huge mistake to fire those two great actors. Without them, CSI will not be the same. The chemistry and the appeal of the show depends on the whole team and not just on WP and MH. I won't continue watching CSI if JF and GE are not part of the cast anymore. The show was (is) great so far and I don't want to see other actors as replacement or else.
So, bring them back on CSI!!!
I disagree with Mareena...i DEFINATLY SUPPORT george and jorja. However they aren't the thing that holds CSI together. What about the thought-provoking storylines? or the great science? Still DEATH TO CBS!!!
I have watched CSI from day one, why would you go and ruin a good thing? I'm sure the show is raking in the dough, why not give the actors what they deserve...more money. In a regular 9-5 job, employees are eligible for raises, why not let the actors of this show be compensated. I'll still watch, but it will never be the same.

I'm not gonna say who i like best coz that's sad but i will say that i DESPISE those big co-operations for thinking that the public are easily sedated. Can you believe they're trying to replace George and Jorja?
I LOVE George Eads and i've even grown accustomed to Jorja's character...i love all the CSI's and the show. My point is they-the actors-have been in it for what? four or five years? They've bought in their own persona's into the storys and the characters etc and replacing them is INCREDIBLY STUPID because of how much THEY ARE Nick and Sara. You can't just hope someone else will capture their essence and their quirks!!! Please CBS just give 'em the money or at least reach some sort of compromise. You don't realise how much of a CRAP-UP this will be to your ratings!!!!
What makes CSI great is not the science or the mystery, but the characters. Jorja Fox and George Eads are integral parts of the show and CSI will their absence will damage the show -- and its ratings.
I thought I was too old to start getting obsessed with television shows and their characters. That was until CSI. I'm sad and disappointed that I won't have anything to watch this fall. Because without the whole cast, this won't be "my" CSI. I heard "The Apprentice" was good.
The reason CSI:Las Vegas is more popular than Miami is because of the subtle interplay between the various characters, especially between the characters of Sara and Grissom. There are online communities and a loyal following devoted to the growing relationship between these two characters. To split them is to destroy the show, at least for me.
