This CSI cast is what makes it so successful. None of the "other" CSI shows even come close to this one. George & Jorja are IRREPLACEABLE!!!! This show WILL suffer if this decision is not reconsidered!!!!!
Wow. To say thisis a surprise is putting it lightly. I really hope that this isn't true. I've been watching form the beginning and a big part of the attraction was the chemistry between the actors. To us, this is an ensemble cast. We don't care who is considered as star status or not. I'm sorry, but your "most watched show" is about to be your "least watched show". Do you really think that your fans will support the other two CSIs?---No.
I am very dissapointed that you chose to fire two great actors from your number one show and that you seem to have no respect for the viewers of CSI. Bring back Jorja and George they are an essential part of the cast. I was an avid watcher of CBS shows but it seems that you have no respect for your viewers, I'll simply have to turn to other networks who are more respectful of their viewers.
Jorja Fox is the reason I started watching CSI in the first place. Sure, I stayed becuase the show was entertaining and the cast has a great dynamic. But with the decline in writing lately and now without Jorja, I don't think I'll be watching the next season.
Me and my mother enjoy watchin CSI alot and in the UK its huge! This news is a shock! It seems very pity too! Brin them back or you will lose alot more fans!
While the rich are getting richer without doing anything Jorja and George just asked for a little bit more money because well they deserve it and ofcourse they get fired. How stupid is THAT! Don't expect me to be watching the show any longer.
CSI is the best crime drama around - or should I say WAS. Remember that Billy Petersen wants to leave at the end of S5, and that is way more likely without Jorja and George. Long live Nick and Sara!

I can't belive this. CBS sucks!! The network has made a ton of money from this show, they should share the wonderful cast. I don't the other CSI show because the cast on this one is what makes it enjoyable.
This show is NOT just a crime drama. Whether you meant to or not, you have created a group of incredibly strong characters that mean just as much to the show as its winning format. Just as I avoid CSI Miami for the unbearable Horatio, I tune in eagerly every week to follow the lives of Sara, Grissom, Nick, Warrick, Catherine, Greg and Brass. Now, I don't know about threatening to "burn DVDs", but what I do know is this: the show will not be the same without George and Jorja (hey, look, campers! It's a shark. Get ready to jump... one... two...)
I just want to say that this is the worst thing that the CBS could have done. It is rather pathetic that they had to fire them just because they wanted a raise. CBS really need to think about what they are doing... Is a bit of money really worth losing two very important cast members and a whole lot of viewers? I support Jorja and George all the way. Bad move CBS!!
In producing a show that has a worldwide fan base, wouldn't it perhaps be a good idea to give the fans what they want- the cast that they fell in love with?
CSI is only complete with all of the 5 main characters. They all have their own way and taking two out of five will destroy the harmony. New characters will make a difference. George and Jorja are irreplacable!
The dynamic between Grissom and Sara is the heart of this show. Without Sara, CSI miight as well be a science show on Discovery. Drop those two actors and I will not watch it agai, nor buy any DVDs.
What's wrong with wanting a little more money if you're on the number one TV show? And if George and Jorga got fired for it why shouldn't Marg get the same treatment for doing the same thing?
I'll stop watching the show and also stop buying the DVD searies if Jorja and George don't come back. You are loosing more money from the fans than you would if you would have granted Jorja and George what they wanted.
I really liked both of them (the chars andactors) and this will totally ruin the show. i mean you can't just make them disappear or cast someone else that's not the same. i'll stop watching if they don't come back.

It's not a threat, it's just a fact. No Jorja, No George, no watch. I won't be tuning in for the upcoming season. And if Marg and Bill decide to bail too, now wouldn't that be dramatic irony.
Firing Jorja and George will completely ruin the dynamics of the show. Both actors and characters are so popular, ratings are bound to go down. I love the show but it won't be the same without them. Bring them back!!!
I can't believe it! No, no they can't do this. CSI is the best thing that has happened to t.v. it has such good characters....without one they are doomed, without 2.... Nick is growing to be almost as good as gil and cath, and sara, well, sara is sara. Dont do this!
A reconsideration of this firing definitely is in order. Recasting the roles would destroy the chemistry between the characters, especially that between Sara and Grissom
