I'm glad it's not Grissom! I'm devoted to CSI and trust the "suits" judgement. However, i think the cast was great the way it was. They really worked well together.
I don't believe that CSI will remain as popular as it has been if you try to replace Jorja Fox and George Eads. I am obviously not the only person with this opinion.
I loved the cast the way it was. It's never going to be the same without these two. Please bring them back. I know you'll lose many viewers, myself not included, if you don't.

i will never watch csi again!! not unless george and jorja come back. all my friends agree they wont watch and i do to. i hate the show wiht out those two. that was stupid to fire them just like that.

I love CSI and I´m gonna keep watching the show. But it will not be the same without them. Bring them back. I love it when Catherine and Sara work on a case together. Bring them back!
I don't really watch the show...but I know people wjp do..and they love Jorja...plus didn't the cast of Friends do the same...and it was okay?!?! God Bless!!!
you might as well not bother filming seaon 5 because if jorja and george aint in it then i will suck big time... i only watch because of the beautiful and talented jorja fox
Please reconsider this shocking decision. It's simply not intelligent to disappoint millions of CSI fans just before the release of yet another CSI spinoff. Who do you think is going to want to get invested in a new show if this is the kind of behavior we can expect?
CBS is going too far. First they devalued the original genius of CSI with knockoffs (ie Miami and NY) and now they are ruining the show further by firing two of the best things about the show. CBS: you may be number one in the ratings right now, and it makes you feel like you're invincible, but this will definitely change that.
As many have already said, these two incredible actors are a vital part of the show, and its success. I'm a big fan of the Grissom/Sarah enigma and want to see it develop, though there are slim chances of that happening now. Nick is also a great character and I love him, just as I love the entire cast of characters working so well together. CBS, you drop these two fabulous people from the show, and you can say GOODBYE to the show. I guess the #1 ranking doesn't mean that much to you, after all.
I was extremely shocked last night when i found out that jorja and geroge, who were my favorite two charcters of the show, were fired! Please do not fire them becasue if you do the shows ratings will go down and the fans will be very upset!
Without these two charecters the show is at a loss ive already spoken to 40 of my friends and it keeps rising that were not going to watch the show unless george and jorja are let back on. the grissom sara romance will be loss and no more wise cracks between nick and greg would be unbelivable they should bring them back right now if not stop watching that will take them by surprise how much fans jorja and george hav!!!!

You can't eliminate two HUGE characters. If you kill them off, you're killing off millions of fans, and if you replace them, you're replcing your show on the television screen.I myself am an extremely devoted fan, but if you eliminate them, I'm thinking of not watching the show, it just wouldn't be worth it, there wouldn't be anything there for me. KEEP THEM!! Don't let them go!!!
There is no way I will watch CSI anymore without these two wonderful actors. My favorite show will be mutilated if they are released. It seems absurd to alter a great situation. I will absolutely not watch another CSI spin-off. This is just wrong.
The termination of these two actors may be the biggest mistake that the team behind CSI has ever made. I am a huge fan of the series, but if my favorite character (Sarah) is written off, I will not be inclined to watch anymore, nor put my money towards any of the merchandise. Furthermore, the "relationship" between Grissom and Sarah is gripping, and I want to see where it is heading. Please reconsider this action!
One of the things I like about CSI is their invlovement with every character. There are no minor roles on this show. It will be a huge mistake to take away their storylines, especially the Sarah and Grissom on again and off again romance. It's what keeps viewers watching (and why I have the first and second season on DVD and plan to by the third).
I can't believe this is happening. I hope CBS didn't just shot itself in the foot. William Petersen keeps saying that the Original CSI cast is unique because they work so well together. I am afraid this well-oiled machine will soon fall apart.
This is so surreal and nuts. CBS this is the number one show on tv and you're going to risk having it taken off the air b/c you didn't like actors asking to be paid more. That's sad. I don't understand what you're thinking, bring these two back! They are well loved by all. I would hate to see this show go down the drain b/c of a mistake CBS made.
Big mistake. I hear the same thing is happening on the Miami show. One or two characters may not come back. All because CBS is greedy and won't pay the actors for making us happy.
ATTENTION CBS:You have the budget, you have a #1 ranked show. If you want to keep CSI #1 you must retain Jorja Fox and George Eads in the cast. I accept no substitutes! Admit to the mistake of firing 2 talented actors and fix it...if you still can.
Please don't fire these two actors for they help make the show the wonderful show that it currently is. One of the reasons why people love CSI so much is because of the great story lines as well as the diverse & talented cast that helps to make those stor lines believeable. George Eads & Jorja Fox are just two of the chaeacters that do this, & by firing them you disrupt the wonderful chemistry that exist between the characters.
Secondly, people have a lot of time invested in these particular characters. They bring them into their households every Thursday night because they like to see how these characters act & react to certain situtations. However, because they have so much time invested in these characters the viewers do not have to spend a lot of time guessing as to why a character such as Nick or Sara acted certain way because they already know many things about them. Many viewers today do not have the time to figure out what motivates a new character nor will they want to get to know charcaters since it will come at the expense of their favorite characters Nick & Sara. This presumably will cuase your ratings to drop significantly. Something that I am fairly confident that CBS does not want to happen.
Third of all I assume that the other actors on the show are not very pleased with the firing of their fellow castmates & I do not think that they will be very receptive to other actors taking their place. This will be scene onscreen thus making the viewer uncomfortable & therefore they will stop watching the show.
I emplore you to reconsider your decision to fire George Eads & Jorja Fox. I do not want to watchanyone try to replace them or their characters because I know that they will not be able to. If you feel the need to be unreasonable in your decision then I feel I must too & I will therefore stop watching your show.
While I enjoy W.P.very much, the show is an ensemble cast. To fire two of the actors for such flimsy reasons destroys the ensemble for no good reas. Frankly, without those characters, I will no longer be watching your show.. which was the only CBS show I have been watching the past few seasons. If you feel the need to fire someone, how about the writers for the last season? It's gone downhill from the first two that were so spectacular, and hooked me as a viewer.

Sadly, i don't think i'll be staying with CSI anymore. I loved the storylines and cast as a whole and without these 2... it's not going to be the same. Bye CSI.
