Considering that CSI is *the* cashcow from CBS (and Viacom), I wonder if Mr. Moonves has truly thought about the consequences of such a major stupidity as the dismissal of Jorja Fox (and George Eads.)
Personally, Sara Sidle is my favourite female character on the show, and the chemistry and complicated relationship between her and Gil Grissom (William Petersen) is one of the main reason that I watch the show.
Yes, the science is interesting and intelligent, but what makes it stand out at the moment is the fact that the cast has a certain chemistry. That there is a certain 'spark' and intriguing relationship between Sara and Grissom, the fact that each actor and actress brings a certain something to their role, that one (as a viewer) can identify with certain character traits on the show. And Jorja Fox portrays that very well.To me, she's the quiet, subtle one, the strong woman who also has her insecurities and doubts.
By dismissing both Jorja Fox, and George Eads, CBS is making a historic mistake, and I would think that you (Moonves and all those others responsible) are aware of that by now. I hope everyone remains calm and that this 'thing' can be worked out. If not, I won't be the only viewer who says goodbye to the show, and CBS. My loyalty is with the ensemble show/cast, not a network. Fair treatment is still appreciated in this day and age, and I hope things will be resolved.
so what r you goin to do next? cut Petersen?? the really show is not a corpse or some blood, the real show are these amazing characters as a LIVIN body, if you cut one, you kill your best money maker.
If you really want to get Jorja and George back on CSI a better way then this petition is to write single letters, like an e-mail. Because this petition only counts as ONE letter. I worked briefly on "CSI" during its first season, and Nick and Jorja were amazingly sweet, amazingly hardworking and talented individuals who are an asset to any project they work on. A big mistake is being made by firing them.

Have they really done that? Is it permanent? I'm afraid I won't be watching if they are not there. They are part of the wonderful team. What on earth have possesed them to do such a thing. It can't be money.
I have been a HUGE fan of CSI since the 1st episode. I can't imagine watching the show without Jorja and George. They complete the show! I think you will lose alot of CSI fans without them on the show.

What the hell are you think CBS. One of my many reasons why I watch CSI is because of the interaction between Nick and Sara (which I hope will blossom into something). You people can't be serious. All I have to say apart from bring back George and Jorja is that you have one of many others to come a network viewer
CBS is making a BIG mistake. What makes this show a success is how the team works together, despite the tension of the competition between the team members.
Losing two of the key characters of the show will kill it. CBS you need to reconsider!

dude ya gotta re-think the Jorja and George thing, they both make the show, George cuz of the compeating with "Warrek" and Jorja and the whole Grissom/Sara relationship, they were so close
This is a MAJOR MISTAKE!!!! Jorja and George are one of the BEST characters on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and if they arent are the show, the rates can plumet fast!!!!!

WTF is going on lol. why do they always have to spoil the best tv shows by removing the best actors/actresses? It's not even funny. I am definitely disappointed and very annoyed!
I was very disappointed to learn about the firing of Jorja Fox and George Eads. If this is true, surely some form of compromise can be reached? Considering it's the character interaction that has made the show the success it is, losing two of the main characters would be a huge blow to the show.
Haven't you noticed that Las Vegas is the best CSI show? Ever wonder why Miami didnt do as well? New York probley won't either, It's because of the CHARACTERS and their chemistry. They work as a team, they have a connection. Their like a family. They work so well, you can't just kick them out. CSI is where they belong.

I have been an avid CSI fan since I first started watching it. I have come to see the cast as a well built family. By firing George and Jorja, all CBS is doing is breaking up this family that seems to have a great chemistry. Breaking up the cast will only serve to break up the show. For what this show has done for the CBS network, basically saving it from mediocrity, they should be willing to pay the cast whatever it takes to keep this show rolling. Here is an idea though. Perhaps it is time to stop wasting money on all these tiresome "reality" TV shows we have all grown to hate. You tell me what will win out in the end, a CSI-less CBS, or a Reality TV ridden CBS? Well?

How can you guys do that. CSI without. George and Jorja is just plain stupid. I am suprise how a group of people brilliant enough to create a show like CSI but be so brainless. I have lost most of my respect to all of the CSI producers. Give them the damn money they need actually scratched that they deserved and earned every cent of that money that they want, beacuse without those two actors and the rest of the cast. CSI would not be number one in all those countries which is being aired.

How the hell can you do that. I am in the UK and I have heard this news. You can not fire my favourtie characters, if you replace them I will go crazy. I can't even watch CSI:Miami because I think is not as good as the original so what makes you think I would be watching these new actors. If you get rid of them there will be no chance of Nick and Sara hooking up. You CBS people have not thought this out at all, if you think that ratings in the USA would not matter, think about the all countries which air CSI rating drop one by one and then kick each for doing a stupid thing like letting Jorja Fox and Goerge Eads go.

I can't even imagine CSI without Sara, let alone without Nick as well. I'm a Sara/Grissom shipper and I don't see anyone but Jorja being able to play her even half as well. Get a clue, CBS. Sacking George and Jorja will send your ratings through the floor. I'll still watch, because Catherine is my favourite character, but it won't be anything like the same and you will lose a lot of dedicated fans if these two actors are not reinstated. I'm in the UK, and I can assure you, the same thing will happen over here. I know a lot of people who won't watch it if these two are removed from the shows. I totally agree with what Tiffeh said just before me... it doesn't work that way. I want to know what happens, too.

You guys arn't even sure if the people you get to replace them will play as Sara and Nick or as different characters. How about you screw all that and bring them back to where they belong.
