Please reconsider your decision to fire Jorja Fox and George Eads. Your decision to divert funding, attention and writing to stupid spinoffs like CSI:Miami instead of to supporting your great award-winning CSI ensemble is very disheartening.
The reason this show is so good is because of its great ESEMBLE cast. With two very important people missing from that ensemble, it just isn't the same.
Shame on CBS for this too obviously calculated move and excuse to recast their top rated drama solely to prove that they're Dick Wolf wannabes and they can. The franchising of CSI has diminished the writing quality anyway - now this latest move is a further slap in the face to the fan base that made CSI the top rated show. A last straw. My Nielsen household will be tuning into the competition at 9 pm on Thursday.

The reason that CSI works so well in my opinion is the group dynamic. By taking away even one member of the group you change that dynamic and in a sense make it more difficult for your audience to relate to the characters. By taking away two members of the team, you all but destroy that dynamic that this group of talented actors have spent the last four years cutlivating. Please bring back Jorja and George.
CSI just wouldn't be the same without them. We've grown quite attached to the characters and the chemistry of the enitre cast. With new actors it might not be the same.
This show can not go on and be successful without two people in an ensamble cast. If this does not get resolved, the show will lose me, along with many others as viewers.
We're not watching for the inside dead body shots or exploding bullets. We're watching for the characters we love. There's a reason C.S.I. is nominated for an emmy - its ensemble cast. Keep it!
I don't get it? Why, when you're ranking highest in the charts, would you make alterations so drastic that they'll most likely knock you from your pedestal? Don't ruin your own show. Television - in all truth - serves at the pleasure of the public. Without our positive response, shows are canned. Obviously the public has spoken, why not listen?
By firing Fox and Eads, Moonves has instantly and permanently alienated thousands of viewers, and gained NOTHING in return. If this meglomaniacal power play is allowed to go forward, CBS can only lose.
I sincerely hope this situation can be resolved amicably - it would be a shame to lose these two characters and actors, and have to 'gel' new relationships this late in tbe game in the 'CSI' series - everything works just fine as it is now in the scheme of things. Forgive and forget, I say - let them come back!!!!

The characters make the show, and George and Jorja make up two of the best characters. The chemistry of the cast is what makes CSI the way it is. If you take that away, you've got nothing but boring storylines. You have to bring them back. Don't ruin a number one show by taking away George and Jorja.
I guess I don't understand why it is ok for Marg to ask for more money, and not show up Thursday because she was "sick", yet you fire George and Jorga for the same. BAD MOVE!! Please reconsider
This is the worst move for the show, why get rid of two of the characters.
I swear that if they don't come back i'm done with the show, I don't care how great the storylines are or what their replacements are like, no one will replace them.

As much as the show tried to shove Marg Helgenberger's character down our throats, Jorga and George had the more interesting characters. Their presence brought something to the show. A show without them, is a show I will not be watching.

It's not just the stories for me; Nick Stokes is my favorite character - and I like the actor portraying him very much, also! Please remember that in many cases it isn't the actor, but the manager that is behind pay disputes. Too many actors have gotten the short end of the stick in such cases! Please try again to negotiate; the success of the CSI franchise can't be so unprofitable that a compromise can't be worked out. Please!

One of biggest factors of CSI's success is the team chemistry. Not having Jorja and George on the team will certainly be detrimental change. If they should come to their senses and beg forgiveness, I hope CBS and Les have the good sense to give them a second chance. I don't think this was a good decision.

Your the top rated show for a reason - the cast. If this goes through you have lost a viewer since inception and my TV won't be turned to CBS ever again.

I'm so shocked!! I didn't believe it when I first heard it but apparently it's true. I certainly hope CBS will forgive, rehire and forget. This show will suffer without them and having been an avid fan for years, I will NOT watch the show anymore if these two are not rehired!

Please, Please bring them back. The show needs them. CSI is the number 1 in America and one reason it because these actors and actresses make it so great. I won't watch without them and I know plenty more that won't watch either.

I have been a fan of Jorja's since she was on ER and a fan of George's since I saw him in a made for tv movie "Just a Walk In The Park". I realized he played Nick on CSI. The show will not be the same without them and you will have many many angry fans. I was upset when I heard WP was leaving because of the CSI spinoffs. If they leave I won't be watching next season, which is approx 67 days from now. Give them a raise they so deserve it. With the ending of S:4 like it was it just won't be the same tuning in to S5 the same. Shame on you. You just lost another devoted fan!
CBS is making a grave mistake. CSI was a character based show and now they have removed a pivotal character of Sara (with al of the Sara/Gil thing going on). It will severely damage the show and it will suffer a serious backlash. CBS is commiting a gradual suicide for the show. It's very depressing.
I am the first to admit I love George Eads. I started watching the show mainly because of him. George adds something the rest do not bring the show. I am such a huge fan of all the CSI actors but I have to admit, I started to cry because I love the show this much. It's what I love forward to in the fall. BRING THEM BACK TO CSI! They make the show!
