Wake up, CSI is the best show I have seen since the demise of Sienfeld. I don't even watch any other tv shows other than CSI. George and Jorga are key characters on CSI, firing the these great stars would only take away from the quality and popularity of the show. In fact, it may just signal it's immediate demise.
I'm sure the dispute can be settled with these two stars without having to resort to firing them. My understanding is that a contractual aggreement exists in which these stars are to work for at least two more seasons. Is the amount of money they make less than what Helgenberger and Peterson make? If they are asking to be paid the same as the other characters in the show than that would only be fair. Why are you willing to jeopardize this show. As a die hard fan I don't even go out Thursday nights so I can watch CSI, which I might add appears to be a lot of repeats this season. Why don't you get rid of a crappy reality tv show like a fluff show and use the money to pay Eads and Fox a fair wage. I hope the idiot that fired them realizes his or her career in tv may never be the way it was. People may not hire you anymore in tv land, your career is in jeopardy if you can't read between the lines.
What on earth are CBS thinking? CSI's ratings will plummet! Nobody can play sara like jorja fox and I'd like to see CBS come up with an acceptable reason for Nick to leave.
I'm an Australian fan and the show is number one here, but the majority of viewers are Jorja and George fans. You've just managed to lose a whole country worth of ratings
No one replace Sara. Even if they recast another female character, there is onely one Sara!!
It would be like 'The X-Files' when Mulder was not around anymore to help Scully. The other agent (dunno his name) was even close as Mulder, to Scully. CSI Rating will be going downhill!!!!
Please realize that your show is a great collaboration of good storytelling. entralling subject matter AND a superb cast!

NO WAY can you just pull out nick and sara! i watch CSI all the time in asia, and even the dubbed versions when i'm overseas... you guys are making such a goddamn big mistake
1) i can't think of anyone who are capable of replacing them. 2) csi: crime scene investigation wouldn't be the same, even if one of the main characters is gone.

Please don't fire those two. The reason that I watch CSI Miami was of those two. If they aren't in the cast I won't watch CSI Miami anymore! Those two together with Grissom are Crime Scene Investigation! So please don't fire them!

George Eads is a great guy and deserves to be fairly compensated. I met him once in a Reno casino and was genuinely impressed; he is a real person. I am a writer and have interviewed many actors. He is impressive on and off the screen. CBS is making a big mistake, but then CBS makes more than its share. CSI was the bright shining light that was holding your network together. This move is suicide.
I live in Indonesia, and I've come to totally love C.S.I that has been shown here for 2 season. Sara Sidle and Nick Stokes wouldn't be replacable by any other character played by any other actors. Hope C.B.C will reconsider their decission, and do the best for the show.
In Manila, Philippines, CSI is one of the "intelligent" TV shows I get to watch. ALL members of the cast and crew, including the production staff, are vital and instrumental to its success. Please... this is something you guys can work out...
Jorga and George are vital to the chemistry of this show. Without them you will lose a large number of your fans. If you must get rid of somebody get rid of David Caruso, only William Shatner's acting is worse. Please, don't kill one of my favorite shows!
Well-known, well-established, and not to mention, well-LIKED characters on such a successful show as CSI being cut is like losing an arm and a leg. Jorja and George added their own unique personalities to the CSI group, and you'll be hard pressed to find replacements. People will still watch, though I'm sure not as many. And if it comes to new characters being introduced, you know they'll forever be compared to Jorja and George. It'll never be the same.
The reason I like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation so much is because of the wonderful chemistry between ALL of the characters. George and Jorja, especially. I think they really bring something special to the show. I think that the dynamic of the show would be changed in a drastically negative way if these two were fired. Please do not fire them and/or hire them back so that CSI can remain the same totally amazing and great show that it is!

Part of CSI's overwhelming success IS the fact that it features an ensemble cast. By taking out such a critical part of this cast, it entirely changes the chemistry of the cast members. Please don't make this mistake and seriously damage the quality of this wonderful program.
Respectfully, I cant belive you fired Jorja and George from you show.Nick was my favorite character on the show and honestly I dont think that the show will be the same award winning show that has developed over the years if these two people are no longer on the show.
Instead of firing one quarter of the core cast of CSI for the unpardonable sin of 'wanting more money', why not give these same people something significant to DO for Pete's sake. Nick hangs around the office for days on end just waiting to pull some fibers from uphoulstery? Sara suddenly develops a drinking problem? Why? Where did this problem start. Give the two of them a significant storyline - at least flesh out their characters! The lab geek wants a chance to go out in the field and POOF - he's so far up Catherine's butt at the crime scene he can barely bag evidence. (and I really like Greg the lab geek)
CSI:Miami will not become #1 if you destroy the basic chemistry of the original. Protect your core players...they are the reason people tune in for every episode, and this loyalty covers Eads and Fox. They are important and vital to the show's sucess - treat them so!
CBS and Les Moonves have made a horrible mistake, and to save themselves from extreme humiliation in the future they should hire Jorja and George back immediatly.
There's not much I can say that hasn't already been expressed a thousand times. If George and Jorja were leaving, I could (reluctantly) accept the loss of Nick and Sara... but to fire them in the face of such vehement public outcry? Please reconsider your actions!
CBS- In Australia CSI pulls in more viewers than all of the Law & Order shows put togther, even on repeated episodes! Doesn't that tell you something! If you pull apart one of the most successful cast duo's in TV and CBS history, CSI is gonna lose so many fans and viewers it's gonna be worthless!
Although the storylines of CSI focus mostly on the cases, it is the characters that bring the show to life and add much needed realsim and emotion. Each character is important (and therefore so is each actor) and CSI is nothing if it is missing any of the original five.
CBS- Have any of you at CBS taken any notice towards the amount of viewers you are going to lose through these actions of yours and also at just how may of these viewers support the show because of Grissom and Sara's relationship? Take a good look at the number of website's dedicated to both Grissom and Sara and then maybe you'll wake up and realise that you are making one of the biggest and most ridiculous mistakes in television and CBS history!
Not sure what you were thinking, but CSI won't remain the number one show if you tear the cast apart like this. The excellent story lines are NOT the reason we fans tune in. We aren't asking that you hand over the bank, but please consider reopening negotiations. Thanks...
I don't think that's the real reason they were fired. It all happened too fast. CSI is about the characters. It's what makes CSI great, and special and...well CSI. I want Jorja Fox back.
CBS - you're making a really huge mistake by firing these two people from CSI. There is no possible reason for you to let them go, they are an intricate part of the show. Their characters act and react well with the rest of the characters on the show and they show feeling and emotions. So please DO NOT FIRE THEM.
This show has something that neither of the spinoffs could ever hope to have--chemistry between the actors/characters. If you start getting rid of good actors/characters, this is going to turn into a second rate show and I don't waste my time on second rate. Bring back George and Jorja!

CBS- are you trying to commit suicide? I have been a fan from day one of all the characters and especially the relationship between Grissom and Sara that I just can't believe you fired them at the snap of your fingers! You gave that actor from Everybody loves Raymond a second chance and let him come back- doing what you are doing to Jorja & George is such a double standard and is so unfair! I bet if William Petersen was the actor at the centre of this you wouldn't fire him so don't fire them!
History shows that the loss of a core character significantly alters the connection viewers have with a TV show, and in most cases leads to a drop in ratings and/or the eventual demise of the show. Cutting two pivotal characters AT THE SAME TIME is tantamount to suicide. Get your act together CBS and re-negotiate! You're getting protests from people on the other side of the world for heaven's sake!!!
CBS- CSI is the number one overseas drama in Australia & America not just for its great storylines but also for the growing relationship between Grissom and Sara! Fans have waited so long for something to happen, and with Sara (jorja) gone it can't happen! I can guarrantee that if they are not there for the remainder of the series you are going to lose so many fans and viewers that CSI is gonna go from top spot to almost unwatchable, no matter how good you think your writers are!
hey you guys if mr. moonves wants to ruin the show csi let him do it...besides it seems to me has no heart he just cares about money even though he is not the one doing any of the work.
