I think that the thought of replacing the integral characters Nick Stokes and Sara Sidle this late in the game is impossible. I’ve been a die-hard fan of CSI since it started running and I’ve purchased all seasons of CSI on DVD, as well as the computer games, but things just won’t be the same if you replace or simply cut out their characters. Watching the banter between Nick and Warrick and listening to Sara’s witty remarks are some of the best part of viewing the show. A family has been built at the lab and that is a huge part of why the show is as wonderful as it is. Breaking apart that family would break up the chemistry and, in my opinion, greatly degrade the show’s quality. I can’t imagine watching the show without Nick and Sara there, and I don’t intend to. Working out contract dealings seems like a much better option than ruining a great show and losing innumerable viewers.
i really think if these two people who are really great actors and the series is doing great why not give them more money? seems that cbs is more concerned about who is getting 1 million dollars for sitting on a island and doing stupid tricks? Then a bona fide actor like jorja and george should be rewarded by being paid what they are worth. they helped put csi on the map! now if david caruso was to ask for more money you better believe he would get it?cbs better wake up or they are going to wind up at the 3rd place in the ratings war
Why???? The show is going to suffer... many of the people around here... they just wanted to see Jorja and George. That was a dumb move on your part and you will suffer.
I enjoyed both of these two characters on the show and will be very disappointed and sad if they leave... I am so tired of shows in which they get rid of some of the main characters like them... so I agree if they leave then I am done watching! It is that simple. Pay them more or you will loose your fans..
Jorja and George were both unique characters in the original CSI. The large team made it different to Miami. I don't think CSI would be nearly as popular without them, honestly.
Why are you firing Jorja and George? They are two key players in CSI, and I will not watch it without them. Everyone I knows says the same. Please keep them on. It will not be the same without them.
CSI Las Vegas is THE BEST - the ORIGINAL - the cast chemistry WORKS! PAY THEM MORE! I'll stop watching if you don't bring them back. I never watch CSI Miami. as I'm sure CSY NY will not compare to the original - it's about the casting, stupid CBS!!!! not about famous "stars"!!! PAY THEM WHAT THEY DESERVE!! --
They can't fire Jorja and George! SInce they did, they're going to lose everyone who watches CSI. Sara and Nick are two of the most popular charaters on the show. To lose them is to lose what the show is.
The secret to the success of CSI (the original) is the ensemble cast. While Stokes and Sidle might not be the favorites of everyone, they make for the awesome chemistry of CSI. RENEGOTIATE! HIRE THEM AGAIN! Otherwise, this will not be my favorite show anymore and the ratings will fall to a sickening low.REHIRE!
I've started watching CSI from the beginning and fell in love with it. I haven't missed an episode yet. I think that the team is great as it is now and would really hate to see anyone go. Especially Nick and Sara. They're such a big part of the show.
I have been a fan of CSI since its beginning. I gave CSI Miami a chance by watching its first episode and I will give CSI NY the same benefit but I am sure it will not compare as Miami did not compare to the original. I am not an avid television viewer. I only watch three shoes with dedication. I will not be happy to find both Jorja Fox and George Eads not in the new season. Any cast replacements will take away from the show and I will not continue to watch it.
It is unbelievable to think that they would be fired over supposedly not sending in a letter of intent to appear for work, when they did and showed up. A contract is a contract, but there should be cirumstances where it can be bent.
Im a hungarian fun and i have been shocked that Sara and Nick have been fired from CSI. PLEASE bring back them!The show wont be the same without them! Shame on you CBS!
My son in law is Kevin Perkins and he is the best friend and school mate of George Eads. How can I not like George. CBS is making a big mistake. George makes the CSI show interesting.

Your fired Jorja and George simply for asking for more money? Gimme a huge break! C.S.I. will be nothing without ALL of its cast members. You cannot replace them nor can the show go on without each and every character (actor). Please do the right thing and work it out.

Please bring back Jorja and George, the show just won't be the same without them! Getting a replacement would be awkward, and making up a completely new character altogether would be even weirder! Don't break up the team!
CBS are wrong to fire Jorja and George. They are who people tune in to see and if they go the ratings are going to drop considerably. Fans will follow them no matter what. CSI will not be the same with out them and therefore will lose the valuable viewers they need to keep the show running. CSI needs Jorja and George bring them back please.
CBS took the easy route in firing Jorja and George...now if they continue, they will see that people tuned in for all the actors, and not just William Peterson and Marg Helgenberger!
I understand that money is not everything, but CSI is one of the highest rating shows. Compared to the paychecks of the 'Friends' actors, I think that G & J are reasonable.
I'm from the UK so i only see this show thanks to Five. I think these two actors are two upcoming actors and should not be sacked. i mean its stupid, would monty pythons flying circus be the same if i didnt have cleese and palin? i think not. CBS get you wallets out and keep the series going!
CSI has become a TV icon. From the original it has spun off into 2 different CSI programs. By firing two main characters in the original show you are making a statement that, no this show isn't good, and its spin offs aren't good either. Why change something that is working so wonderfully?
