CSI works so well (unlike it's spinoff CSI Miami) because of the chemistry of the team. YOU have ripped that apart and I will not watch the sad show that wil result, nor ANY of it's spinoffs unless Jorja and George are allowed to return.
CBS should forget it's vendetta on actors as illustrated by firing George & Jorja. It's ratings that count & George & Jorja are a part of the CSI team which gets CBS it's ratings. It only makes good business sense to re-hire them. Moonves has "made his point", now let's move on.....
Employees paid hourly, get raises. Contracted employees get raises and/or bonuses. It is entirely reasonable that Fox and Eads get more money after all of the success the show has seen.
Mr. Moonves may call these two actors just supporting actors. How stupid is he, that he doesn't realize that support comes in many forms, such as support of viewers (aka ratings), which affect advertising revenue. Another form of support: how long do you suppose a bridge would last if two of its load-bearing pillars are taken out?
Mr. Moonves will see this fall that the success of this show has been based not only upon great story lines and special effects, but on the great on-screen chemistry of this ENSEMBLE cast.
Sara Sidle and Nick Stokes are the vital part of CSI, noboby is better or important on the show, except for the salaries....
Please bring them comeback
Sara and Nick were by far two of my favorite characters. What I loved about the original CSI was that it was such an ensemble cast; everybody clicked so well. Jorja and George will definitely be missed - as will the dynamic chemistry that made CSI such a hit.
I won't watch CSI without George and Jorja. Miami is not nearly as good and New York won't be either because of the obvious chemistry between the original 5. Keep Jorja & George!!!
The reason the orginal csi is the most popular is because the chemistry of the entire group. These actors are vital to the show's quality. To fire these actors is a mistake and it will reflect in the ratings.
Jorja and George are irreplacable! This was a very poor P.R. move on CBS's part. Once the dust settles, PLEASE reconsider your decision. It would be a shame for CSI to end in such a bad way!
You have just kissed CSI goodbye. Viewers will boycott CSI at the very least and probably the other CSI shows as well. I guarantee that CSI NY will suffer because of this decision. This move is completely foolhardy and self-destructive. You have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Why?
I think that without Jorja and George CSI will not be as interesting as it used to be. Bring them back, because i'm sure CSI won't be what it used to be!!!

I'm outraged! Is this indicative of the Network's distain for original CSI, in favour of Maimi & New York? Please stop thinking of CSI as a cash cow and treat ALL of the cast/crew with the respect they deserve. Please rethink this decision, and bring back Jorja and George immediately. The goodwill of the fans is being eroded as every minute ticks by...
I would prefer to see negotiations reopened and a discussion take place rather than the abrupt severence of Eads and Fox from the show. I find them to be necessary characters to the show and have enjoyed their performances over the past 4 seasons.
PLEASE hire them back. Good lord, contract disputes are nothing new to the industry. George and Jorja are a BIG reason why a lot of us watch CSI in the first place.

CBS this is so stupid. You are screwing up the plot. What will become of Grissom and Sara? If you think that just replacing Jorja Fox and Geroge Eads will help, you're wrong. There is no one else in the fans minds who could play them. If you don't rehire them you will find out that you have started the downfall of CSI, and I know you don't want to do that because CSI brings in most of your money. Also the reason the original CSI was good was because of the cast. You know why I hate CSI Miami? Because I would rather watch a dead animal get run over repeatidly than the CSI Miami team. They just don't click right. The CSI cast had such good chemistry. I hope you realize what a HUGE mistake you're making before its too late. LISTEN TO THE FANS BECAUSE WE ARE PART OF THE REASON YOU MAKE MONEY! You fire them and you fire the fans because we arent watching. wake up and smell the coffee because this is one case the CSI team cant solve on their own. Do it for the devoted fans that make the show #1 every week. Keep writing everyone!
CBS, I will not see the show or anybody in my household, and I am sure my friends will do the same, if these excellent actors are not part of the show. This is outrageous.
This is one of the most intelligent programs in TV and you want to diminish its quality by taking Jorga and George away.

In true Horatio Caine style, I will now state the blindingly obvious; THIS IS A REALLY, REALLY BAD IDEA! What a way to kill off your channel's number one show! The team dynamic on this show is an integral part of its appeal, and to blow it apart like this - especially when you already face losing one of the stars anyway - is, quite simply, ratings suicide!
Part of the enjoyment of CSI is the interplay between characters, with the departure of these two the dynamic will completely change and I'm afraid not for the better.
Big mistake Mr. Moonves, you really think possible ans succesfull replace the Jorja role, with the another actress of the another drama show like 24, please wake up!!!!
They must be brought back no matter what. You do not tinker with a successful formula like CSI. The show needs them and we must make CBS understand that!

CSI is my whole life. I don't really watch any other show and with Sara and Nick gone which is just utter nuts. i am definetly NOT going to watch season 5. What is gonna happen to the Sara Grissom relationship? I sooo wanted them to get together, and things were just hotting up at the end of season 4. This was a huge mistake and i'm sure Jorja and George were not making a huge fuss about money. I don't think they're that sort of people. So please just re-hire them and do what the public who WATCH the programme want.

Please reconsider your firing of Jorja and George. They are wonderful actors and help bring a great balance to the show. I do not wish to see this fantastic show suffer.
The only reason why I can see firing these two must be that they want to simplfy the show and have less storylines. However I think that these two characters really add to the show and bring in a larger audience in terms of generational boundaries.

Jorja and George are some of the most important characters on CSI... the show will definitely not be the same without them! Besides... firing those two just beacuse they wanted a pay rise (which they rightly deserve) and they didn't show up to film one day is STUPID AS HELL! Cut 'em some slack people! The appeal of the show will seriously be diminished for me without George and Jorja's characters. They helped make the show what it is and it will NOT be the same without them.
How can two key characters be written out of the show without completely screwing it up? Simple, they can't be. Kiss and make up folks, money or no money.

It's rather ubsurd CBS can consider replacing the actors in a "Oliver asks for more" predicament. Four Seasons down the road, replacing 2 of the original 5 is wrong in more ways than can be stated.

What was Moonves thinking when he fired 2/5 of the main cast of the best show CBS has???? WAS he thinking???? Or is there simply a void between this man's ears? Keep them or I have a suspicion you will lose a HUGE chunk of your present audience to practically ANYTHING else that's out there. I can practically *hear* NBC moving ER to an hour-earlier slot as I type.
