David Schwimmer got paid a million dollars to act like an a**wipe, I think they can afford to pay Jorja and George at CBS. Just get rid of King of Queens.
Eliminating essential characters such as Nick and Sarah destroys the show. Trying to replace the actors with someone else won't work either. Correct this mistake by re-entering negotiations or cancelling the show. Anything else would be pointless and diminish the value of what has already been acheived.
CSI is a good show if you can pay friends stars 1 million ****ing dollars for one show you can pay them what they want! Not that it is a hard job at all and it's not like they deserve that much money!! People who work real jobs like me should get that kinda pay check not spoiled rotten rich actors!!
There *is* no CSI without George and Jorja. The chemistry between this cast can not be duplicated with recasts or replacements. I will no longer be watching if they are not reinstated to the cast.
they cant fire them, there charaters were left hanging at the end of the season, one faced a promotion and the other was on probation the only way to get rid of the charters would be to have them killed.
Well, what can I say Im from Mexico,CSi is one of the most popular and amazing programs in the whole world and firing Jorja and Fox will make the program loose a big part of it!Plese support them!!!!
I watch the show because I feel that the characters have a genuine respect for each other and see each other as a family. Bringing in new characters would never make up for the loss in that family. I will stop watching if Jorja and George don't come back.
CSI no es solo un show de audiencia norteamericana ni europea, tambien es vista en Latinoamerica, y lo que CBS ha hecho es una falta de respeto, espero que Jorja Fox y George Eads regresen bajo condiciones dignas de trabajo.
You can't let Jorja and George go, they're part of the team and its the whole team that make CSI what it is, a great show that doesn't treat it viewers like idiots. They deserve raises, The West Wing let Rob Lowe go for the same reason and it lost something PLEASE don't let this happen to CSI.
i pray you, we must save jorja, because she's so sweet and nice and she's a beautiful actress...from italy we want to see jorja as sara sidle again...!!
Many people watch the show just for these characters and the actors who play them. We can't lose them now. Make a deal, it's worth it to the faithful audience who has supported this show and these actors for the past 4 years. It sounds like niether one had the intention of breaking the contract and it would be a brutal shame to let these wonderful actors go over a mistake.
Seriously, why the rush to fire people? It's seems CBS was just looking for an excuse, and that is not cool. Jorja Fox is one of the people who makes the show. You can't repalce her. With anyone. Bring her back, please.
Nick Stokes is my favourite character on the show. He has one of the best back stories than any of the other characters. I can't believe that CBS are being this anal.
CBS needs to re-think their position on this or they will lose a lot of ratings. Actors within the CBS family have been successful. Why the harsh treatment of George and Jorga?
I read that these actors broke their contract by either not showing up at an appointed time or for neglecting to send back a letter of sorts concerning the contract. Whatever the reason, these two actors did help make the show the success it has become. It would be a shame to let such small matters get in the way and break up such an outstanding ensemble - a formula that has worked so well for the show.
It is interesting that two valuable cast members were sacked so quickly. While I disagree with not showing up and doing your job under contract, I'm willing to bet that a) CBS is making millions off of syndication and DVD sales and can afford to keep two core members of the show. We know the inner dynamics and relationships each of these characters share. With new people, it's starting from scratch and will ruin a perfectly good show. B) Ratings will slide as the dynamics an excellent cast changes. It will not be the same anymore, and people will start tuning out.
CSI is not CSI without george orjorja. THey were the oens who originally grabbed my attention and were able to hold it throughout the following seasons. Everyone who likes NIck and Sara knows these characters cannot be recast nor can new characters be puit in their place. This is a deadly move and it is highly likely that ratings will go down! Best of luck to George and JOrja
getting rid of these 2 would be the worst move ever! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LOSE RATINGS??? HUH??? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL HATE YOU FOREVER???
Without these two original members of the cast, you are loosing some of the heart and soul of CSI, along with most of the original heart and soul of the original followers.
The show will be about as bad as CSI:Miami with out these 2, and that show is pretty bad. Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone, and stick with something great. It will be nothing with out Jorja and George.
If you don't bring them back do not replace there characters with other actors. I will not watch shows that do that. The public relates to the character through the person that plays the part.
We record CSI and watch it every week! The show will be ruined without these two characters and we will not watch anymore. With the ratings as good as they are, I certainly think you can afford to give them a oay raise.
I quote William Petersen..."Hey, they can do the show five nights a week with five different casts, but as long as they don't have my guys, they're not going to do it as well.
"CSI: Miami doesn't have our chemistry,"
CBS listen to another actor he even says their cast is the best!
I love these two characters! We have so much left to explore between Grissom and Sara. They haven't even begun to delve into Nick Stokes yet. Jorja and George deserve another chance; they are part of what makes this so show so successful.
CSI is the best show on TV. The entire cast is excellent. Please do not fire Jorja Fox or George Eads...they make the show as they gel perfectly with the other characters-please don't turn this into Law and Order with different characters coming and going. Please! Give them the money-they are worth it, and I can't live without my weekly CSI viewing.
When you fire two casts members who have been on the show from the beginning, not only do you hurt the fans, however it affects the outcome of the show's appeal. They are apart of a dynamic group in the show, makes the show go on. Jorja and George deserve better from their countless dedications to the show.
I have been a fan of CSI since the 1st season. When I started watching the show I thought that it was great, not only for the storylines but also because I just couldnīt help but care for the characters, ALL of them. You think that by firing both George and Jorja, you have set an example for other actors who want bigger salaries. But what you havenīt realized is that it will backfire on you. You may start to allege that they didnīt "respect their contracts", didnīt show up for work, etc., but what you may not know is that we (the fans) are not stupid. You may think that you can try to fool us, but we know the truth, it all came to greed, but not from George and Jorja, but from you, Mr. Moonves and the people at CBS. You have got to stop thinking about money, and start treating your actors/actresses and the fans of the show with the amount of respect that they deserve. I will stop watching CSI & their spin-offs until you decide to bring back both George and Jorja. I know that you may not care what I have to say, because I come from a small country, but when you realize the amount of damage that you have cost to the show, that people from all over the world are just fed up with what you (the big people or "Goliath") have done and when we (the fans from all over the world or "David") stop watching the show, stop buying CSI merchandise and start to boycott your sponsors, you will see that our voices are being heard. The rating from CSI will drop world wide and the networks that bought the rights to air them will start pressuring you until you hire them back. You canīt afford to lose them both. We will start watching the show when you have hired George and Jorja back. Remember we (the fans) will defeat you (Mr. Moonves and CBS) the same way that David defeated Goliath. You may think that youīre big and strong, and that you can do whatever you want, even if it harms the fans and the show, but even though we are small, we will defeat you.We will
The ONLY reason I watch the Vegas version of CSI and not CSI-Miami is the chemistry and believability of the cast members. I don't care who gets teamed with David Caruso since the words coming out of their mouths ring entirely false and empty. I can watch the original CSI cast and understand and suspend disbelief because these are actors who act, not just recite lines. These firings of George and Jorja put at risk one of the most popular shows on television today. Trust me, this show will undoubtedly no longer be in my auto-programmed taped shows come the fall with the departure of these key cast members. No offense to the other cast members but it was a fine oiled machine that now is missing parts! You tell me how long it's going to be able to run! Free Thrusdays from now on...maybe I'll go back to reading instead of watching TV...no wait...there are other networks dying for my attention. See ya, CBS!
Jorja and George are an integral part of the show, not simply "Support actors". As is shown in this petition alone they are immensly popular.
I'd have serious doubts as to whether the "replacements" will be up to scratch considering the dynamic duo have been a major part of the show all along. The show could go down the plughole, dragging the counterparts of Miami and NYC with them. That would be a terrible loss to the whole world. We implore that the decision is reconsidered!
Firing Jorja Fox is like suicide for CSI. She was one of the best and most relatable characters for female viewers. Plus removing 2 of the main characters from an ensemble cast show is tantamount to killing the show. The fanbase will not accept it. I will no longer watch CSI without two of the main characters. I am very dissapointed in CBS. This was one of my favorite shows!
